Ooh you are lazy copy/pasting my answer and editing it ;)

That would be my 2nd answer as well.

too late, but still funny - max body count = 9*15 = 135:

Minimum effort is a major driving force of any achievement :p

Yeah I just checked but... nearly ;)

Too late. Sorry, rolo got there first :)

Minimum effort is a major driving force of any achievement :p

Very true. Where I come from, copy-paste-edit is an art :D

Forge(1), German UB (4), Ironworks (3), Industrial Park (1 free + 2 slots = 3)

11

Unless you count Great Engineers, in which case it is infinite :p

You are right. Go ahead.

BTW, you will notice that a GE is specifically excluded. After encountering all the :borg:, I made sure that there was no room for error :king:

What is the maximum number of engineers you can have in a city? How?

You don't have to elaborate too much, just say in brief as to how you get that many engineers.

Note - This is NOT a trick question, so exclude anything which isn't called an engineer :p
Since when Great Engineers aren't engineers ? :p

Well, a easy one:

In which situations the Ballista Elephant can't use it's special ability?

1) vs. units in a city
2) or a fort
3) or vs units on a boat ;)

As you are being picky :p .... the answer is incomplete. You forgot some very obvious instances :p

That is.... the enemy stack has no mounted units :D

Feel free to pick it

Alright what is the best bonus a unit can get when defending. I'll have to work this out myself as well ;)

+25% from 5-turn fortification
+75% from forest with promotions
+75% from hills with promotions
+100% from advantage over unit type

Best bonus from defending = +275%

I'm sure I've missed something, though.

That's WAY too low.

Hmm, let me try something:

Anti-tank on forested hill with a fort (+100%). Fortified (+25%). Attacker (tank) across a river (+25%).
Now, we add on CG3 (+75%), W2 (50%), G2(50%), C6 (75% - although this isn't a specific defensive bonus, so you may not count it).
Unit ability +100%. Throw on Ambush (+25%?)

So, in total, my guess is +550% or +625%, depending if you count the combat 6 or not.

Combat 6 doesn't count as a defensive bonus, I mean bonuses subtracted from the attackers strength.

EDIT: I just used worldbuilder for the frist time, the numbers in the combat log don't seem to add up right, so just call the situation and don't fret about numbers too much ;)

That only adds up to +450 anyway...

I managed to get +500 I believe but there may be a better answer I forgot gunpowder units can get woodsman and guerilla.

EDIT: So if anyone gets 500 or higher you win ;)

EDIT: Nope, I got 550.

Off the top of my head, 100% for unit type advantage, 25% for fortify, I've seen cities with 125% defence (wall, castle, culture, C.I.), 25% for hill, and a CG3 l-bow in a city would be what? around 100% for a hill city ( I rarely get that many l-bow promos), plus 25% for attacker crossing a river.400%, but that doesn't sound right.

EDIT: Paradigm was editing his while I was answer, forget my answer.

If anyone can get up to +485 or higher I'll accept that because I factored in 2 little known bonuses which are:

+40 vs. barbarians on settler difficulty
+25 city barbarian defence (never heard of this before, is that a lower level bonus too?)

Ok, a couple pages back, I thought you needed a monument for stonehenge. Sorry guys!

Quecha:
City (walls, castle, culture, Quecha special ability, Chichen Itza, City Garrison III)= 245%
Fortified= 25%
Archer attacking (Quecha special ability, cover, across river)= 150%
Hill (Guerilla I & II)= 75%

For a total of:
505

:D
