If it's not announced in the next four hours it will be after the announcement time of Beyond the Sword and Warlords, and I doubt they'd announce it much later than that in the day.

Unless they intend to field media inqueries immediately after the announcement, there is no reason they won't be able to wait up to the end of the business day.

Even if they don't announce it today, I'm sure they'll announce it at some point. G&K was more focused on the early eras and religion, now we need an expansion that focuses on the later eras and economy/diplomacy.

I certainly hope so. There aren't many positive incentives right now to play peacefully and build trade with your neighbors. It's just too much better to go and take your neighbor over.

Peace, diplomacy and economics need to be bolstered, and as good as Gods & Kings was, I'm looking forward to any upcoming expansion 2K/Firaxis has been working on.

In my opinion, if he's trolling he only wins if we cry and whine and get all ragey about him being wrong. I'd like him to be right, but if he's wrong, I won't speak another word of it.

Though this is likely, regardless of this guy posting or not people will be waiting every Thursday with hopes that we will see news about the One World expansion. Myself included. It's nearly undeniable that we're nearing around that time.
