Turn 0 - 3000 BC
Increased science to 90%, we can afford some loss of money (only -1/turn). Ends turn.
Turn 1 - 2950 BC
Moves Pedro (scout 1) to the mountain, I see some incense, and more plains and some hills, and a new river. Can't see the southern coast yet.
Moves Rodrigues two tiles south. We can now see the southern coast there, so it seems like the continent ends here. There is some sugar here, and a grassland tile, plus a whale in the sea to the west.
Turn 2 - 2900 BC
The Curragh is complete, sets the new production to Settler. Lisbon also grew, so I'll check the city to see if we need happiness or to MM. As I already knew, one of the citizens are unhappy, so that calls for some entertainment funding.
Increase entertainment funding to 20% and therefor the Science Funding becomes 80%. With Writing in 14 turns.
Pedro sees some Floodplains, and Rodrigues finds some desert and incense, and coast. The continent ends there.
The great expedition of Colombus sets sail and promises great riches and new places to explore.
Turn 3 - 2850 BC
Rodrigues finds some valuable Whale resources. And Pedro finds more floodplains, actually a area with 5 floodplain tiles and no desert!
Turn 4 - 2800 BC
Pedro finds some marshes and spices, and it seems to be more land here then I first believed.
Rodrigues is now heading north towards Germany.
Turn 5 - 2750 BC
Nothing much, Pedro finds more grasslands.
Lisbon is growing to size 4 next turn, and it's getting too much food. But there is nothing that can done to get more shields and still make the city grow. So the tiles stay the same.
Next turn the the worker has finished mining the bonus tile aswell.
And if you didn't know it, when it comes to food and such, the city gets the food before production so that means the city will grow, then the 4th citizen will be placed by the game, and then all shields will be aquired. This can sometimes be exploited to earn One turn on a production. This can't be exploited in this instance however.
Turn 6 - 2710 BC
Instead of using the 4th civ as a citizen I increase the entertainment and use her as a scientist. This earns us 1 turn on the research. 7 Turns left on writing.
Gotta love the new specialists

Builds a road with the worker, commerce is important.
Turn 7 - 2670 BC
Contacts the English with Pedro, they are on the same continent, which is bigger then I first thought. They have Bronze Working, Masonry and Warrior Code. We have nothing they don't.
Pedro gets an idea. I contact the Germans and trades the Wheel from them, I give them Pottery and Ceremonial Burial plus 14 gold for it.
I trade the Wheel to the English for Warrior Code and Bronze Working, plus I get 2 gold. I tried to get Masonry instead of either Warrior Code or Bronze, but they wouldn't give it to me.
I accidently moved Pedro north while going from Civ3 to Notepad...

Changed the entertainment to 10% again, and science to 90%.
The Scientist is now gone, so now we get writing in 8 turns.
The reason why we need to have entertainment as well as our 2 garrisons, is because we have pop rushed the granary.
Turn 8 - 2630 BC
The Scout is finished in Oporto, set the next item to Worker.
Btw, we got no horses close to us, the only horse resource I can see is quite close to the Germans.
Turn 9 - 2590 BC
Lisbon will grow next turn, with 1 food. So therefor I move the citizen working the cow to the 2nd Mined bonus tile for more shields. And still city growth.
The worker is moved to the Ivory tile.
Turn 10 - 2550 BC
The city of Guimarães is built, 3 tiles from the capital. With an ability to borrow the cow from Lisbon when necessary. It got a possible 4 Bonus tiles, and in the future 4 Hills and a mountain, and 4 plain tiles. This will be a monster in the industrial age when it comes to production. Especially if we are lucky enough to have both Iron and Coal within it's borders.
Pedro finds the southern landbridge to be filled with Jungle, so that will probably stop the English expansion a bit.
Our 3rd scout, Sanchez, is heading north on the west side of Germany. While Rodriguez is going the eastern side of them.
The entertainment is raised to 20%. Writing will be ours in 4 turns.
We could build the Collossus in the Capital, if we want to, the capital has the productivity for it, and it could be a prebuild for some other wonder like the Statue of Zeus. But it's set to build a Settler for now finished in 3 turns, as is the growth of the city.
The new city can borrow the cow if you want to, but that will hurt the growth of Lisbon. But it can be done whenever you see it as a good thing.
Some screenshots:
So a question, should we build the Collosus (or use it as a prebuild) in the Capital. It will hurt our expansion a bit. But lets face it, there is not much competion near enough, and an early wonder will be great for commerce.
