Civilization VII Screenshots Thread (Funny, Strange, etc.)

One thing I’d like to see is wars not being counted on a civ by civ basis, but on alliance vs alliance basis. Help the idea of a world war being a proper world war if you saw Ibn Battuta and Ben Franklin vs Himiko and Friedrich, instead of 4 separate wars.

Then you wouldn't be able to measure war support per individual member though.

Also, sometimes people are involved who aren't part of alliances, or individual members of alliances peace out.

Set sail! To the distant lands! - Uh...Captain...I am not sure how to tell you this, but I don't think this ship is going to discover anything.

(Note to self: Don't build a fishing quay in a one tile lake in Antiquity)

Yeah, like in the war I posted the situation is weirdly both simple and complicated. There's six civs involved in the war and everyone is at war with only four civs. Franklin's at war with everyone involved BUT Ibn Battuta, Xerxes is at war with everyone BUT Himiko, etc. It was really funny and weird, I have no idea how that happened. Definitely at least one alliance got broken though because I had been allies to both Himiko and Franklin but then those two went to war and made me pick a side.

I look, and by those signs I recognise.
I understand, He must bide His time for now, in a place remote and barren, whereto retreat He had.
But when He's ready and the time is ripe...
...descend He shall, upon us all, without much warning.
So I believe.
Be ready.
BOOOM!

We had ourselves a double whammy today.

1) Some lovely, lovely Ming Great Wall yields.

2) THE VOLCANO COUNCIL SHALL DECIDE YOUR FATE.

The goal in exploration age was 40 science on a single tile, right?

I could even add two more specialists to this. Abbasids are just... 120 yields on tile are definitely possible in exploration age.

I had you beat on that one with the very post I started the thread with. :P

only in terms of science though. I also think that in the end of exploration era, that tile went up to 150. Sadly, I didn't screenshot it then again.

Too bad the enlightenment legacy doesn't stack. Should be two points for an 80 yield tile, three points for 120.

Mangrove forests really do blur the line between land and sea.

Elephants chilling in the backyard of the City Hall, a few piles of gold in the open air Treasury within arm's reach, an active volcano just on the outskirts of the city to provide heating and light, with a backup one nearby - what a happy mayor could ask for more?

Fulfills every cliché of an SEA city. 10/10. Only Prussia is off.
