Civver Looking For PBEM Game...

I might be willing to give it a try, but I will be definitely gone from about the 6th to the 16th of September, so it may not be wise to start anything yet. This week is going to be busy to... So I should just wait until I come back. :)
 
Looking for a replacement in a relatively fast moving vanilla, 5 player game at 1605 AD. As a leader of this Civ you will know how to acquit yourself in diplomatic situations, as you have a human player vassal with whom you are (presently) in league with to kill off an aggressor. You will be leading a Civ in a commanding position (ranked 2nd I believe, possibly 1st) and so will be accustomed to commanding thousands of troops and millions of citizens.

If you think you have what it takes to push this Civ on to new horizons as we emerge from the Middle Ages, go ahead and express your interest here.

Looking For: BTS PBEM or Pitboss game. Normal or Epic speed. Small, standard, or large map. Fairly standard map type and settings. I usually play fractal with no tech brokering and no random events, but am open to other map types and settings. Would love to join a game using K-Mod, but by no means a requirement.

Game Experience: New to PBEM games, but have played lots of single-player plus the occasional LAN game with family members. Frequent reader of the old all-leader challenge threads.
Favorite Civilizations: Don't...make...me...choose... Though at this second I'd say Ragnar or Mansa.
Gaming-Style: Mainly an honorable builder, but open to swallowing a threatening neighbor or allying against a runaway civ when necessary. Usually play Noble or Prince in SP and only war when needed. I always finish my SP games, and am willing to role-play and finish out a game even if I'm not in a position to win.
Communication: Forum thread, PM, or email.
Substitution Availability: Definitely open to joining an existing game in progress, even if not dealt the strongest hand.

I'd be interested in joining in if it isn't too late. As fair warning, I've never played any multiplayer Civ before, but I've been really getting into single player recently and I would love the chance to play vs. human opponents, even if I get steamrolled.

ReallyEvilMuff- I forgot to ask you what time zone you'll be playing from. Going to try optimizing the turn order using that info.
 
I am looking for two very dedicated players to play quite intense World War II in Pacific scenario. I am going to be Commonwealth and Nationalist China, while one of you will be USA and the other one Japan. It is a huge map, lots of units and scenario specially tuned for multiplayer with lot's of custom events. Almost no house rules, just barring some specific exploits. Playing Japan takes 2-3 hours at the beginning, she has 38 Cruisers, for example. That is why your dedication and time at hand is very, very important. On the other hand with only 3 of us and 93 max turns finishing this game is very feasible. Any experience with this scenario is really a plus, please PM me with that info and your choice.
