CNN wake up!

It's been going on for a few hours now and CNN, BBC and sky news (all the international news channels I can get) didn't say a single word!

edit: Two or three Israelis killed, 14 injured, and probably two families are still hostages...

edit2: Two of the terrorists appearantly were hit by IDF soldiers before they fortified inside the house. Also appearantly NO hostages...

How were those people hurt/killed? Who is holding those families hostage, some random crazy guy or do they think its one of the groups of militant Palestinians?

It's some Palestinian terrorists... But no orgenization has taken responsibility yet...
Here's what happened (Or what I understood happened) - A few terrorists invaded a settlment, and started shooting. IDF soldiers that were near by returned fire. Then the terrorists fortified themselves in a house, and no one knows if there are families there or not. So everybody's just waiting now...
Wait, just heard that Israeli sodiers were able to kill two terrorists that were inside the house...

Hell no! Do you think Israel would accept this happening regularly? World media makes everything look so scary... In the entire year of the intifada there were less then 600 Palestinians killed and about 200 Israelis. Looks like nothing compared to the WTC attack... But it's more scary because it happens all the time and not just once.

The point is that we were talking about an infiltration to a settlement, something that hapenned for the first time during this Intifada, and a possible hostages situation, also for the first time.

The despicable lack of coverage by the mainstream media, including US-based CNN (&CNNi), demonstrates great Anti-Israel bias when events like that occur.

IMHO, the world should quit holding Israel to a different standard. Isreal should move in and mop up any malcontent pockets, plow down housing, whatever... We (in America) do not allow the world to dictate how the US handles issues within its borders (like civilian unrest, riots, campus protests, etc.).

The Final Solution to the Palestinian Problem is for everyone who lives in the confines of Israel (including the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and Golan Heights) to be under one rule... Israeli police. Not a separate police, not Yassir-f*cking-terrorist-Arafat, and not Arab police. Those that don't like it should either leave, or be expelled from Israel... and the process continued until there is peace.

Non-peaceful Palestinians (or any other nationality)... GET OUT, and cause problems elsewhere.

Anyone remember what caring ARAB nation, filled with brotherly loved for the malcontented Palistinians, kicked the Palestinians OUT of their country, LOL??? Well... that good Palestinian friend was... JORDAN. Yup.

So let's name the loving Arab nations that give the Palestinians refuge... here it comes:

NONE. Zip. Nada. Not even Iraq or Egypt. Arab countries do not want to be bothered by the Palestinians... but they do want them to bother Israel, LOL..

It is ironic that America takes care of more Palestinians than even large, rich Arab nations. That's because Arab nations despise the Palestinians... their common "enemy" of Israel is the main "bond".

So much for brotherly love. If I were Israel, I'd give malcontented Palestinians the boot, and clean house. Peaceful, loyal, law-abiding could stay. But no enclaves, and no P-Police. Let other nations lend a helping hand... let Syria or Egypt or Iraq provide a homeland for any interested Palestinians. Let the also grant them Independance and their own new country!! Ha, fat chance... there is too much brotherly "dislike" by Arabs for Palestinians for that!

So the world should quit lumping the Palestinian Problem into Isreal's lap. Even Isrealis seem to go along with that "premise" too much.

IN SUMMARY: Let's review the facts:

1. All Israel's neighbors hate Israel, and would love to see it destroyed. They have tried to destroy Israel many times. Imagine if all America's neighbors were of similar power, and comitted to destroying it.

2. Israel won the wars. Questions?

3. ISRAEL (not "occupied") = West Bank, Gaza, Golan, as far as this American is concerned. Personally, I'd order that all references to "occupied" be scratched out.

4. Shot Dead = fate of any person of any age raising a weapon against anyone in Israel. Arab. Jew. Christian. Muslim. Palestinian. Period. Until long term peace is restored! And butt out, world.

5. Vaporized = capital of any nation that again tries to overrun Israel.

Oh well... Peace thru Strength, I say.

That's nice... Only that the US (and therefore all other western countries) will never agree to that. The Arabs don't wanna have the Palestinians bothering them, and right now the US is looking for arab support - and more support to the Palestinians will help you getting it. Also, now that the PA is existing it's kinda hard to say to them to leave... People, mainly in Europe but also in America, will say that the Palestinians deserve their own land. Sure, they might forget the country that Britain gives to the IRA, the country the Spanish give to the Basks (I'm pretty sure that's not spelled this way... Never mind).
Anyway, people in Europe have made what I think was a dangerous decision - they said that Palestinian terror is acceptable because it's for a better cause. Sure, I think that wanting to have your own country is a better then wanting to kill all non Muslims, but every terror orgenization considers it's causes to be the best ones, and therefore terror is a legitimate way to achive it.

We give Isreal territory in West Texas with access to the gulf of Mexico for sea trade and move the whole country over here so they can live in peace and solve the middle-east crisis at the same time?

And leave the country we've built for 50 years? I think it would be better to move the Palestinians there - They didn't build anything yet... And if you move Israel to Texas the UN will need no more then two days to declare it an occupied territory from Mexico.

The Palestinians couldn't handle the Texans next door. It would be far crueler for them.

America is already a country, and of course the great Nation-State of Texas stands ready to defend the free world.

Like George S. Patton said in WW II: "Give me an army of West Point graduates, and I'll win a Battle. Give me an army of Texas Aggies, and I'll win a WAR!!" Whoooooop!

Israel IS a country. Palestine is NOT. That's reality. Another reality is the ones that least want Palestine to have an independent country are many Arab nations.

I'm not a Jew, and have no Jewish relatives; In fact, an uncle is 100% Jordanian, and several other relatives are part Jordanian... but it's not a issue of race and nationality. Its an issue of behavior and terrorism and killing and entrapping a tiny nation in blood.

So I'd be more than willing to lend a hand in a fight to simply squash the terrorists and troublemakers once and for all, and that includes those in Syria, Jordon, Iraq, etc... anywhere they hide out. Let them all surrender, or be routed out and killed.

But another reality is that even America and Israel do not view the problem as I do... it is a soverignity issue, and the troublemakers should be eradicated or deported, and the "past" history of "ownership" of the land of Israel is moot, and a red herring. I don't think world politics should play a part letting Israel control the malcontents. Peace must be vigoriously maintained, and all terrorists and their enclaves must be destroyed, now and forevermore.

Perhaps the only cure for terrorist hatred is a bullet in the terrorist head. The choice is up to the terrorist. Aw heck, why not... let's give it a try!

Starlifter - Jordan isn't supporting terror. They suffer from Palsetinian terror almost as much as Israel does (Ususally atleast. Today we're far ahead of them in that)

Why all the fighting over Israel? Because too many DAMN religions have their start in that small strip of land? What if we evacuate Israel and blew it off the face of the earth. What would all those countries fight over then? Yes, I know it ain't happenin, NO, I don't want it to happen. I just find it so ridiculous. But hey, whatever pays the bills.
