I have colored the tanbuttons (i.e. Disband, Forify, Build City, Recon, Build Mine, etc.) I colored every single one. The only problem is it is only for Civilization III (Not 'Play the World'). If one does put this for Play the World, it will delete PTW buttons...so beware! Hehe...Well here are the instructions.

    INSTRUCTION:

First go to Infogrames/Civilization III/ Art/interface and delete or rename a file called tanbuttons. (If renaming it, best to rename it tanbuttons-original). Then put the colored tanbuttons in interface, and if the colored tan buttons aren't renamed tanbuttons, you won't have any buttons and the game will, perhaps close down.

These aren't for PTW, you will REALLY screw yourself up if you replace these with PTW tanbuttons, (I thought I was clear on that, sorry...) Send me the tanbuttons from PTW and I can color those...

I was unable to find tanbuttons for ptw- it has normbuttons, tho.
I am not sure if PTW carries another tanbuttons file...
