I never saw that one before.

Quite fast life cycle those snowpeople have. Guess it makes sense, they only have a short season to reproduce.

Reminds me of that Star Trek episode where a baby grows to adulthood and old age in one day (or maybe it was a few days, saw it 30+ years ago).

That's because it's not by Bill Waterson.

And I think the ST Ep you're thinking of is from DS9 (Season 3?), when Sisco temporarily adopts a Jem'Hadar baby that Quark found in a stasis tube.

I was never a fan of Calvin and Hobbes in its original run, so I wouldn't know what's original and what isn't. All I see is a cute comic strip in the style of the original, with a cute storyline that made me laugh.

It's the same with Peanuts, though I'm more aware of what Schulz did and what other people did.

As I mentioned to someone on FB, I regard this as the fanfiction version of comic strips. Some of it's quite good, and I have no plans to post the bad ones. Even in the '70s, someone did a cute comic strip mashup of Star Trek and Peanuts, called "Sp'charliebrownak". Imagine the Peanuts gang looking and dressing like Vulcan children, even Snoopy with pointed ears and eyebrows. It was amusing.

^Heheheh.

Doing serious research on archive.org I found this fan-made webcomic called Warcraft idiocies (131 strips) that is worth reading.
