Command and Conquer 3

Yes, but sadly, the fleet wouldn't be a match for a massive bombardment with Firehawks or lots of AA, much like a Kirov Fleet. Powerful en masse, but still isn't a match for a massive AA defence... right?
I hate the Scrin Infantry. The buzzers suck in buildings and you're rather better off with Storm Columns and using the Mothership and Devastators and POCs for victory.

GDI, build a massive army of Mammoths and Zone Troopers...
NOD... uhh in one of my games with easy opponents, I found nothing fun to build en masse and go wild. The Avatar is good, but I got around to building 3 and giving em all upgrades, then I got bored. With GDI, I could build Mammoths and Firehawks and then go nuts... Avatars... no, boring

That's why I prefer GDI and the Scrin. They got some nice late-game fun stuff to use

Not really, a properly deployed SVF means a death for you.

For Nod(not NOD, it aint an acronym), mass scorps and venoms. Nod easily has the best spamming ability.

That's not fun. Oh a massive Venom and Scorpion Army.... When I tried an easy skirmish, I couldn't find it fun with Avatars. The only fun in Nod was the Vertigo and I only had 4.
With GDI, I told you, mass Mammoth and Zone Troopers... fun galore, same with Scrin, mass Devastator Warships.
The Mass Avatar strategy takes too long (I like ultimate unit spams)

Nod has good tactics, but still you can't sway my opinion of GDI and the Scrin!

So I dunno what's wrong with your C&C 3. Get a new game, or contact tech support and demand to know why your GDI isn't working. Get really annoyed over it, show you're not a happy customer. Then go get an exchange and see if the new CD has a working GDI campaign

Or have you tried defragging the hard drive? Could be a problem

You haven't told me if you've defragged the hard drive. It could be a problem with the hard drive or something. I dunno. I wonder how EA games feels of making a faulty product...

Defragged...uh, what's that? (I know I'm a complete computer noob you don't need to tell me!)
Something that has to be done once per year to every windows system.
But that is too abstract to be the cause of your specific problem.

Is the scud storm near the supply stash? Or is it somewhere else on the map on C&C1 China Mission 7?

The GDI campaign has the best ending (in my opinion, I wish Nod's was better, stupid Kane saying how great I was instead of ascending...).

Mjwhear, if you need help with Generals, Google up a walkthrough. Everyone cool does it

So why would EA games make such a faulty CD that the GDI campaign does not work? It has to be some kind of conspiracy on EA games trying to make money and something involving Jews, like all false conspiracy theories!
I think everyone should rise up and demand EA games gives independence to things like Westwood and Maxis so that their evil corporate practices will not harm the glory of Command & Conquer or our favourite Sims games! Who's with me?
Anyone?
Hello?
Ah forget it, I'll go buy a "Maxis" game.... stupid EA taking away the good things in life for money...

 Exactly what people've been posting over at the EA forums!

Anyway, I've defragged the drive (took 6 hours or something.). The GDI campaign (curses!) still doesn't work. I spent the next couple hours adjusting the settings and reinstalling the game. Just send a query to the technical support people may be they can help.

(oh and Maxis is a sub of EA iirc)

Good luck Tailless, here's how you'll probably go in Tech Support:

Tailless: Hi, I'd like to report a problem with the game Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars.
Tech Support (Indian accent): Hello, please hold
T: -holds-
-cheesy music plays-
TS: Thank you for holding, your call is important to us
T: Yeah, my problem is that I've installed the game and my GDI campaign isn't working.
TS: Have you installed the game correctly?
T: Yes I have. The Nod Campaign plays OK, but the GDI does not
TS: Well have you installed -insert file-
T: I HAVE IT ALREADY!!!
TS: Time's over, thank you for calling EA Games Tech Support, have a nice day -hangs up-
T: GRRR!!!! -puts phone down-

Something like that I think...

I have the Kane Version, have you got it? I mean the Kane Version works fine for me. Does it only affect the non-Kane version of C&C 3? It could do with that and EA could have some 'splainin to do...

Stylesrj do you have C&C Generals 3? If you do during then holidays i can come over your house and borrow it to mount it on to my computer?

Is C&C Generals 3 called yuri's revenge or is that another game?

Mjwhear, why don't you just buy the game and use the edit button?

So do you think it's that the Kane Version works and the regular does not?

I think its the other way around. (I have Kane Edition btw)

But really iirc the problem strikes more or less at random. People with both low end and top end computers all have problems.
