Common Errors and/or Crashes Section

I have the most up to date version of the mod and am still getting CTDs. Here is the save, crashes on end of turn.

Yup - this is the same save file as before. I fixed it yesterday - see patch thread - there's an updated DLL for you to download there.
 
Thank you very much for the reply. Could you further explain the bolded portion above? I didn't do anything with the CvAltRoot.py albeit is in the C2C folder as a file. Do you mean that file is no longer necessary on a Windows machine.

I am really lame here!

BTW (again) I do not get this error message when I load ROM or AND, but do get it with all versions of C2C.

That file is for people who have non-standard instalations of non-windows machines. If you are not then it should not be the problem. Though why it is appearing in the error is a mystry.
 
Not sure if this was reported already but I found a few errors ...

1. All great people show pink pictures.

2. I cannot make a Town Watchmen or Guard anymore. Yet I still have the ones I already made from a saved game. Were they changed?

3. Apple Orchard, Bunker, Coconut Plantation, Command Center, Date Plantation, Extraction Facility and many other improvements have TAG text instead of normal words. I know some say "not written yet" but some don't even have that. Someone should make text for that (not me).

They all have text in my version. I have not updated in the last 6 hours.

ok i am still playing the same game that had the CTDs, my first city on a new continent is unable to build any buildings or units. here is my save file if you need it.

I got those errors, too. They are defined correctly in info xml, so I have no idea about the reason.

after the last update to SVN, i am getting ALL kinds of Embassy errors like these: and alot more????

They are all religion buildings. I hope I did not delete the wrong files while I was updating. Ah! Most of those are in the standard religions which I renamed. was Standard_BtS_Religions is now StD_BtS_Religions. Let me check if I put the new ones in.

Edit: Yup, they are there. Check you have a Std_Bts_Religions and Std_RoM_Religions folder in Modules/DancingHoskuld/Custom_Religions.

Do you mean Canterbury? (correct me please if not) It seems to be correct as far as I can see. It can only build quite a limitted selection of buildings, but that's as expected. If you hover over the buildings it tells you why (mostly because most of them need a city of size 6 or more).

Which specific buildings or units do you think you should be able to build there which you cannot?

Fix pushed to SVN. Patch thread also has an updated DLL.

It was a bug that only occurs with maps that wrap in Y as well as in X (toroidal maps).
 
An enemy wanderer in my game was able to kill one of my gatherers, even though the scout line has the defensiveonly trait.:mad: Is this a feature? It seems kinda unbalanced to me.

Wanderer is both scout and hunter. It is before they specialise into their different roles. I use them early game to hunt down easy game animals.
