It seems to me that the two Heal buttons do the same thing. Isn't the first one supposed to "Fortify" a unit until it heals completely (regardless of nearby enemy), whereas the second one will heal until an enemy comes into view?

Yes on both accounts, something has gone wrong with the translation from AND 1.75, because AND 1.76 has the same problem.

I hadn't noticed them not working (but I more or les only use the heal-until-something near version). Is the problem that ther unconditional heal one keeps waking up?

Yes, the unconditional one wakes up. So it acts just like the other one does.

Exactly.

The normal looking one should Fortify until healed, even if enemies are nearby, attack, etc. Not a major glitch, but it means an extra command that has to be issued by the player each turn. It's particularly annoying when you're on the coast healing and a water unit comes by, or vice versa.

The other heal works as listed where the unit wakes if an enemy comes in sight.
 
I like this Mod very much, but, have been unable to get it to run correctly on my Win7 64bit machine. I have tried my darnedest, download and run it numerous times so it starts correctly but "no soap".

I have mentioned my issue before but for the sake of someone who may be reading this and have a solution I'll state it again.

After the mod loads, I get this error message "Directory from CVAltRoot.py is not valid or does not Contain CivilizationIV.ini". I can play the game but can not interface with any of the AI Leaders, throughout the game. The Leader screen comes up but it has no dialog.

I have the latest C2C(vr 17) loaded in my C:/Games/Civilization/BTS/Mod and loaded the latest DH patch. I should say that I have had this problem going back to C2C vr 15.

Other mods under BTS, namely ROM 2.92 and RAND with patch 1.76 do not have this issue.

So guys I guess I have to hang the mod up as non-compatible with the Win 7-64 OS and move on.

Try opening CvAltRoot.py in the C2C mod folder. Maybe following the instructions in that file will help.

I use Win 7 Pro 64 and it runs perfect. So it must be something with settings or drivers or something on your machine.

Make sure the mod folder name is "Caveman2Cosmos"

I just checked the code. It should happen if and only if he finds a CvAltRoot.py to import. That means that there is already a CvAltRoot.py in the Python folder.
Check if there is one in there (/Caveman2Cosmos/Assets/Python) and if there is, delete it.

Maybe you did your reinstallations without deleting the directory first so an old CvAltRoot.py remained behind.
 
Has anyone else been having this problem?

Every single time I load up my game, I have to manually reset Every one of my BUG options, it is kinda getting annoying doing this over and over again:mad:. This has been around since v16 I think.

Set your BUG options, save the game, save the game again (same file). No I don't know why you have to save twice, it has been necessary for quite awhile.
 
@ DH:

This usually happens when the button icon is not in the main art folder somewhere, but the one we use for partisans is there. So I am assuming it is because the rest of the art for partisans is not in the main area. I have moved the art files.

Edit: This one's a Show Stopper! I can't get past it.

Not a SVN version. Standard V17 with the last .dll and DH's Assets update from the Patches thread. One other item, the Civ4CivicsInfo file has been adjusted. I redid some of the bonuses/penalties but they are only xml changes in that file. Do I need to post it?

Edit: Here is the Civ4CivicsInfo file I used for this game.
