The only map I can play on without visual errors is Earth. I've played complete games on Earth without any issues whatsoever, but on any other map or scenario a lot of the interface or starting units don't load properly. Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?

Not sure it is the same issue, but for a few of us strange glitches (black empty spaces or red artifacts over some icons) suddenly started appearing in the game (for me it was about half a year ago, for some others it started recently). It was caused by some graphics settings. Try lowering the graphics to the minimum and restarting the game. If the glitches go away, gradually increase the various settings step by step. When the glitches reappear, you know which settings it was. If it does not help, at least you can rule out one possible cause. Not sure why Earth maps should be different ...
 
Hello,I do have a problem.
I installed CP (gotta mention I don't use EUI) and when I play a game with the CP, the toolbar from upper right won't show,only the diplomacy (globe ) button.
I can't have access to the events and decisions panel,infoaddict panel and so on.

This seems like it shouldn't be there. Also, when I met the city state, it said that they gave me 12 faith, but the faith didn't appear. Something must've gone wrong during installation. How can I fix it?

Hello,

I installed the Community Patch mod today, for the first time. Started a game, but when I started meeting other civilizations and City states, it seems there are some bugs in the diplomacy screen, as seen in these:

Was trying it out as different civilizations every time, different map type, tried Quick game pace as opposed to Marathon the other times just to test it out.

Tried removing the files from the cache folder in my My Games/Civilization V folder, nothing. Tried verifying game cache in Steam multiple times. I am running no other mods. I installed Artificial Unintelligence mod from the Steam Workshop today prior to installing CP, but uninstalled it immediately afterwards before installing the CP.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Should add that I installed only the CP Core, nothing else.
 
i play with such setting but crash at turn 32.....



what is wrong in my settings?

i precise that i play with giant earth map and 22 civs

Every new version has its own thread with changes. But it is true the stickied Unified change log is not being updated anymore. You can also see the wiki.

Could be a mod conflict. Try without the extra mods and on some standard map first and see if it works or not. They you will know if it is a mod conflict or if you have a bad install.

oh, never noticed..
would be nice to add a link (and keep the old ones too in a spoiler) to the thread, when a new version comes out.

That's a good idea (technically easier would be just linking the previous thread though). But now comes the "but" :)

Unfortunately I am afraid it won't be done, because there are 10s of these threads and only Gazebo, who creates these, can edit the opening posts. Maybe someone with a lot of time can create a thread with all the previous ones copied into it? Or create a subforum and ask the mods to move all these threads there (of course we would have to send them the exact IDs to save them the work)? Honestly, I think it is not worth the hassle. Wiki is being updated and eventually will become the complete go-to source of information.
 
Wiki will EVENTUALLY have a combined, date sortable changelog for every release back to inception of the mod.
 
What is the compensation for a world wonder built by another civilisation when you already built a part of it? If I'm not mistaken, it was culture points in previous versions of mod, but in current version I got nothing as a compensation. Is it a bug or what?
