Community Patch - How To Install

When using the Community Patch + EUI, you can't open the diplomacy overview anymore (clicking on the diplomacy-button won't do anything).
I guess this is because of the DiploList.lua being included into the CP since v.9/27.

Do you think it's safe to delete it from CP when using EUI?

edit:

Hmm... it's not part of the Compatibility Patch for EUI (only of the one for No-EUI) so it will be deleted when using the Full CPP(EUI) anyway, and the DiploList.lua from EUI for CBP is the very same as in EUI 1.27c/d, so I conclude the answer is "yes"?! :D

Could anyone please host latest Community Patch to other file hosting, like dropbox. Seems that link on the first page is not working for me.

The irony is that Gazebo used dropbox and google drive a while ago to which they banned his files since their term and agreement most likely pointed out that it was for private file sharing not public file sharing.

Well okay, but still, I tested it with two other persons from different countries and it won't work for them too.

Is it me or does this patch slow the game down completely I started a game with 12 civs 12 CSD and barbs and turns were already taking 24 secs to process, does anyone have any tips on this as I don't think I can play the game without these patches because they make the game twice as good

Hi! I recently downloaded the community patch and all the other mods that come with it, but everytime i try and start a game with it it, civ just instantly crashes without an error message. PLS help!:(

Hi. First of all, I'll thank for your work. What you've been doing is wonderful, and I greatly appreciate it.
Now for my question: is there somewhere I can download older versions of the patch? I have an old game I'd like to complete :)

Until we can do that, you could save a back-up of your mod folder before you upgrade to the latest versions. Renaming it and making a new MODS folder is most convenient for me.

Which version do you need?

Hi all!

This mod is really awesome, but i came across a strange behavior which I think is a bug.

http://imgur.com/sq5BPYO

The tooltip for EUI for some building are not showing correctly.

I have installed full CPP with EUI following this procedure several times, but the error keep happening.

There is a way to fix it?

Thanks

I pressed back instead of new game... Sorry for bothering.

No it isn't. The Mod Project uses a DLL to inject several changes that would be normally hard-coded and not changeable. Mac is not able to handle DLL's, so no.

Installation Manual:
...

1) CBP on Mac:
I am on PC myself, but if I am not mistaken, you could run CBP on Mac with Bootcamp. I vaguely remember some people were succesfull

2) Installation Manual:
Great job, Estebanium! I had a quick look at it and I think it is very well done.

Seeing all the repetitive "bug reports" from the new players (e.g. "Your mod is broken, all the yields appear as food! This is gamebreaking, fix it now, or else!!!!!") I was thinking about creating some sort of bug-fixing branched diagram, which would cover fixing the common bugs by following checklist with arrows. The diagram would be split into main branches such as "Game does not even start: checklist ; Game starts, but UI is broken: checklist ; I am getting CTDs during the game: checklist ; ... )

It must be annoying especially for Gazebo to keep patiently repeating, "clear your cache", "do you have all the DLCs?", "is your Civ5 version .279?". If we have such a diagram, we can just point most people to it. I think most of the requirements and all the installation steps are now covered by your manual, so the diagram would not be as complicated as I had thought when I first got the idea, and I could just reference the chapters in your manual.

What do you think? Is this a good idea? I could bake something simple in Photoshop or maybe even something "clickable" as a webpage.

Thank you vyyt. I thought that issues that are reported here and that are a consequence of a wrong installation could be added to the FAQ of the manual and to the How to Install page.

For example the food yield bug, one could add a picture to the FAQ and write a fix down below, so people will hopefully see their issue there and begin to read how to fix it.
I already made it for the UI, showing just the top bar and describing what went wrong.. If we collect those issues and write it into the manual/how to install thread, we don't have to ask or write the same questions and fixes again and again.

I can add a fix for the food yield bug, if you would give me the reason for this issue and maybe a picture.

Hi All,
I noted that an "All Leader DLC" is needed for this mod. Where can that be found?

Thx.

If you have the Complete Edition, you will of course already own this content.

You can find the missing DLC on Civ 5's store page on Steam

http://store.steampowered.com/app/8930/

you will need Gods & Kings and Brave New World, Babylon, Spain & Inca, Polynesia, Denmark, and Korea

If you are missing too much, you can probably catch the complete edition with a hefty holiday discount later this year. I got it a while back for only $12 on Humble Bundle.

Hi All,
Thx for your prompt replies. In looking at the main game menu, I show the following
as installed DLCs: Genghis Khan's Mongolia, Harold Bluetooth's Denmark, Isabella's Spain
and Pachacuti's Incan Empire, Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon, and Sejong The Great's Korea.
So, It looks like it should be ok. If not, pls advise.

Thx for your help.

Gazebo,
Thx. I have Polynesia, forgot to note it. Unfortunately, while the "Configuring Game Data"
screen was running, I got an error message saying, that "Sid Meier's Civ V Encountered
An Error And Needed To Close".
I'll post this on the mod bug forum.

Thx.

Hey.

I understand the solution to my problem might be somewhere in this thread, but reading 55 pages seems like a bit much.

Thing is, sometimes when I run the game it crashes for no apparent reason and I only get the generic "Civ5 has stopped working" message. However, whenever I try to load a previously saved game I get this.
I'm running Win10 x64 if that helps.

I would appreciate any help greatly.
