Community Patch - How To Install

while playing with venice,i liberated a barbarian captured city city.But there is no option for liberating or any other option.It's just like a new city.
any help?
 
Version 10/24. I apologize if this is not a bug. In a defensive war with Japan as Venice, I conquered two cities and began to raze them. After Japan capitulated, I chose to stop razing the cities. Both cities are now puppet cities that do not allow me to make production decisions. Neither city allows a courthouse. My understanding is that Venice should have the capability to control every puppet city, so this seems to be a bug.

Sidenote: I understand that an exploit was fixed by preventing the sale of cities without a DoF, but I would really like to return these cities to Japan as my vassal. Perhaps city sales could be allowed to vassals without a DoF? The option to declare friendship with vassals is missing for me, anyway, and that seems intended.

Sidenote 2: Unrelated to the above, my cities and yields are still affected by negative Happiness when the Happiness system is disabled. I'd understand if this was impossible to fix, but I just thought I'd mention it.

Sounds like a mod conflict.

Venice cannot build courthouses because it cannot control cities directly. Always puppets. That's their UA.

How did you disable the happiness system, exactly?

i just used you patch with qmod and faster aircraft animation

By "qmod" are you referring to the NQ Mod? If so, then you're gonna be facing a whole host of problems because both are DLL mods, thus leading to intrinsic and (effectively) unavoidable conflicts.
 
Been trying to make the Community Patch/EUI work with little success and just now realized that you need ALL DLC including "Wonders of the Ancient World". The problem is that I can`t download/buy the dlc because "it is not available on my region". Is there an alternative or way to fix this?

Wow! That's stupid, why do they let you download the game, but not the DLCs?!? May I ask what region are you from?

Maybe you can buy the DLCs at some mon-Steam vendors ... ?

Sadly I can't, I live in Venezuela and given the situation in the country I can't buy it from other sources (I have 10$ on the steam account that I was counting on). That dlc is in the only one I lack (along with the Korea civ that comes with the pack).

With the release of Civ VI I got that "one more turn" itch, but it is dissapointing to not be able to mod it.
 
Hello, I'm having a problem, I can't get the "first part" part of this mod to appear in the mod menu, I only get (2) to (6) parts.
I used the Vox Pupuli installer and... That's it.

With civ open, drop mods into and out of MODS folder.
 
If using the Smart AI mod (assuming it's still eligible), should you make it load before or after the CP?

(And cheers for the hard work you all do!)
 
Hmm, suspected as much - might want to make a note of it in the mod compatibility section given that the first posts here suggest that it is indeed compatible with the Smart AI mod.
 
The mod compatibility section lists it as incorporated. The opening post is also mentioning the DLL mods are not compatible. I guess I can bold it or make it more prominent. I can see the confusing posts in the beginning of this thread, but I am afraid only the original posters can edit / delete them.

But why would you want to use 2 AI mods at the same time, anyway? Don't you think they would be conflicting even if they were compatible? Anyway don't worry, CP is so robust that you do not need any other AI mod. And I suggest to use the whole overhaul package (Vox Populi). The devs have done an amazing job - see the appreciation thread. I can't imagine going back to the dumb vanilla CiV AI - heck, I don't even see a reason to buy Civ6 niw (and I have bought all Civs since 1 (except BE)).
 
Well, reading the first posts, I was wondering if they could mutually benefit from each other, but I can also where you are coming from pointing at them both being DLL mods. It might be a bit much to assume that all players are aware what that means though. Additionally, reading through all the changelogs is a long read, not to mention that on the wiki the first ones are missing. And finally, perhaps the "Recommended and Compatible Mods" header in the first post here should point to the longer topic in the Community Patch Project subforum? At least I didn't think to go look elsewhere since the first post already contains a list.

That said, I certainly hope I don't come off as ungrateful - I definitely prioritize using the CP above any other mod (above Civ VI too!), and have been doing that for a while with great satisfaction. Quite the contrary, all I wish to do here is help :)
 
How can I disable the feature where workers are not captured by barbarians, it makes it too easy if they cannot be captured?????
 
Hey all, sorry if this has already been solved, but I'm unable to play this because the (1) Community Patch, doesn't show up in my mods list. It's in the mods folder and i've cleared the cache and reinstalled everything multiple times. I'm using the vox populi installer, chosing the version without eui, and there don't seem to be any problems in installation so I dunno whats wrong...

With game open, drag (1) CP in and out of your MODS folder.
