I installed , Vox Populi with EUI. I am unable to load textures which prevents me from settling my first city. Still can save the game just fine to keep my start.

The textures unable to be loaded are in order:

DC45_DiplomacyOverview.dds
DC45_AdvisorCounsel.dds
DC45_Greatworks.dds
DC45_Culture.dds
DC45_EspionageOverview.dds
TopPanelGoldenAge.dds
MenuButton.dds
HelpButton,dds

I am using the latest version Automatic Installer 2-17 of this year, cleaned out my cache at every reinstall. Verified integrity and so on. Might use the version without EUI if this is EUI problem. Not other mods installed.

Got Vox Populi installed, where are the 'happyness' buildings, and when are effective; as I see changes in circus, colloseum, etc. ?-

Sorry, what do you mean by "where"? You can see what each building does and how much they decrease the city needs in the tooltip when you hover over the building in the city screen - if this is what you are asking. If not, please rephrase and ask in this thread:

https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/quick-questions-quick-answers.573489/page-251

Also, please specify the version of VP - the happiness system changed dramatically in the latest 2 betas.

As memory serves, the February 27 version was installed .

Next question : Does VP allow the use of the 'seperate counters for Great People' mod ?

Have same issue as @Mike Blake had, but cant find UI_bc1 folder. Searching gave me nothing, so asking where to put files from UI_bc1.zip then.

I just installed it yesterday. My steam files are on the D drive as stated above. To find the UI_bc1.zip file, you go to the first page/post of this thread and click on "Vox Populi Manual Install Folder" The download for the zip file is below the other mod files.

Thanks for those that posted the solution -- it worked great and made the whole process painless!

Installed the EUI version with automatic installer and had some "missing textures" errors before the game loaded and when it loaded the UI was messed up. Then installed without EUI and the UI is fine, but for some reason I have a pathfinder (Shoshone unit) as Egypt...

It's kinda funny. But I'm not sure about actually continuing the game as it may have other issues that I'm yet to encounter.

Do you have any idea what might be causing the problem? I have the requirements for the mod.

Have you noticed the pathfinder? What was your civ?

1) I suspect your Civ5 / Steam client is installed in a non-standard location. The autoinstaller puts the EUI in the wrong standard folder and then it isnot being picked up by the game. Skim through a couple of last pages in this thread, we have solved this issue for other users before.

2) The pathfinder is a general starting unit for everyone, it is not a Shoshone UU anymore.

Thank you very much for the reply.

Yes, I install all my games in a specific location I chose (non-standard). I will try to do that.

Well it's nice to hear the pathfinder is a feature. Though I find that a bit, well, "unimmersive" to have a unique Indian unit as Germany for example. But it's okay if my game isn't broken.

@Berrytheboo, you are welcome.

Yes, it may be a bit confusing if you are coming from vanilla amd used to pathfinders as the Shoshone UUs. I think the reason is that the VP devs did not have any new suitable graphics for the pathfinder unit, so they used the already existing one.

Hi,
I don't know if someone else has already risen this issue, but with the last patch (17 of feb) the game is very slow after the modern era. I didn't play (with you magnificent mod) for a long time, but I'm pretty sure that before wasn't so slow.
Thank you.
