Computer Questions Not Worth Their Own Thread II

But there's multiple partitions on that drive. So create a logical drive of those partitions and make it one drive.

Or, just format the thing, and have a 30 gig partition sitting there looking pretty.

My understanding is yes. You can't do an overlay like Win95/98/ME to XP, you need to do a clean install.

Oh I see. but how exactly do I do that? I looked in Disk Management and didnt see anyhing for doing that

I accidentally installed a game in French. Does this make me into a wannabe noob?

Anyone buy Windows 7 from that offer for students they have going? I'm thinking of getting it and office, just can't seem to find out if they're full versions, and won't have to be reactivated every year or something or have limited installs or some other crap. Also, is Windows 7 64 bit? Or does every copy work for both or something?

1) How do I disable a button on my keyboard? Not a key. What this button does is close the current window and I sometimes accidentally hit it while playing a game and it's annoying. There's no CD for the keyboard.

2) My mom got me some headphones (since I pulled the cable on my old one again). She got the wrong type because a salesperson told her my normal ones were "cheaply-made" (obviously, they'll trying to sell expensive make money!) However, the stupid padding is too small and it keeps falling off my head. Mom's refuse to exchange it. What now?

If you don't have a control panel plugin for it, you can probably go to the manufacturer's website and d/l the software for it and install it.

Deal with it, or buy a new pair, or do without.

Except there is no manufacturer. The paint is worn off and for some reason it's not on the bottom of the keyboard. (Think it may have been a sticker which came off.)

Is it normal to try to rip out your hair while watching videos? Also, how do you make video files have thumbnails? I saw the options when installing K-Lite but forgot ...

I believe thats a folder display option in Windows, not a feature of the video file itself.

edit:nvm

Dumb question: How do you check what service pack you have? I looked in System Properties and didn't see anything saying Service Pack.
