I decided after looking at a few sites, that I'll just try and dabble in some Python. I'm not going to delude myself into thinking that it's easy or that I'll somehow learn it quickly, but I'm just bored

They (the first three) work pretty well, except that I'm looking to compute the habitable zone for fictitious stars and close binary systems, as well as orbit times, like the page that went down.

As for Wolfram Alpha, I'm not sure what I should input to get the desired results.

Seems to work on my end.

Question: I like looking at the visualizations for Folding@Home because I like spinning things. However, something odd I noticed is that the ones with 100/500 or something (when you mouseover the system tray icon) look more complex than the ones with 100/1500. Why is this, because you'd think it'd be other way around? And what are those little thingys called?

There's mini USB and micro USB. There a picture here:

I'm just trying to organize things better (without a huge amount of subfolders) because it's sort of messy right now.

All you can do to organize a lot of things is folders and subfolders. You just have to do the work to get an organization you want.

Am I the only one who finds this article a bit weird? It says to delete old files to keep your hard drive from wearing out.

It's not very well written. But basically he seems to just be saying that if you defrag and delete the junk that your hard drive doesn't have to work as hard to find what you want. Which could extend its life a bit.

For the USB thing, my camera cable was damaged, and I was trying to identify the type to replace it. So that helped, thanks.

You don't need to buy defrag software. It's a feature of windows. But you don't need to run defrag every day. Most people don't need to run it every month. Just check the disk management from time to time to see if windows tells you it is recommended. Some servers are adding and deleting files so often that file fragmentation is a real problem pretty quickly. But few personal users are. If you were constantly downloading things and then burning them to cds or dvds and deleting them from your HDD, then you might want to defrag fairly often. If you gradually fill the drive and don't delete a lot, you aren't fragmenting a lot of files and defragging doesn't have to be done all that often.

Not even necessary in any modern version of Windows, it's scheduled to automatically defrag when necessary.

Question: How do you move an NTFS partition? I have about 30 gigs unallocted and I want to give it to my main partition, but there's two other ones in the way:

Use the Windows Partition Editor and create a new logical drive consisting of the two physical ones.
