Or, get a 5-button mouse and use the right and left side buttons for navigation.
I got a free box of old computer components. What do I do with them? (None of them are particularly useful for my computer, as they're several years old.)

runs fine for meDid you try another USB plug?
Question: I showed somebody this youtube video and she said the fps is lacking and that the video is choppy on her end, but it appears fine on my end. She also says that other videos don't do it and the audio isn't skipping, so its the video (as opposed to the connection). The only skipping/stalling I see is due to the antivirus (I paused it and it stopped). What do you all think?

Is this a battery operated wireless mouse?
When it goes out, did you try pulling it out and plugging it back in? (Hot-swapping it.)
Only temporary fix but if it works and you have a front-panel USB port (that cooperates with it) it shouldn't be too much problem.

If it works in others, then you got a bad port, if it doesnt, you either have a bad mouse or bad drivers. The cable might have also been damaged and thus after more intense action the mouse appears to go offline.
