Hmm... and how do you explain Australia? We here still speak English. I'm trying to outsmart it by ordering from the US (unfortunately i'll be getting the CD version instead of the DVD), but it take 7 business days to reach... which brings back to 3rd or 4th Nov.... (i lost count already).... i'm too depressed..

Hmmm.... Maybe the soonest that the game will reach there after being ready is...seven business days regardless of who's ordering it?

I think it is mostly a problem for larger items. Containers and the like.
Mind you, airmail from America already takes longer than from any other country in the World. Not sure why this should be so.

I am hoping on Amazon's projected ship and arrival date to be horribly incorrect, as it usually is. I took the free shipping option on the pre-order. It gives an approximate arrival date of November 9. I wouldn't be suprised if I get it before next weekend.

I understand that our friends at Firaxis busted their behinds to get the game moved up a couple of months. What's everyone complaining about? I have to have my sent to me via a relative in the US to forward to me in Asia because there was no other option. No company wants to ship here. I'll probably not see my game until Thanksgiving if I'm lucky.

Sorry for Firaxis but I don't call that a well planned release. I'd rather say they suck on this issue. Hope the last extra days of testing (which I hope explain the 4th nov release everywhere but in US) have improved the quality of the game.

1) Firaxis isn't in charge of this part of the process; that's Take2's responsibility as publisher.
2) You're being pretty harsh judging them for screwing up something that hasn't happened yet.

This is all very confusing. First they post an Oct 25 release date. Ok, cool, I'll run down in between my morning classes on Tuesday. Then I go down to Gamestop to put my final payment on my pre-order and they tell me it ships on 25th, will be available for pickup on 26th. Now this thread is saying it ships on 24th! Whatever, I am going to call everyday just to check.

I know I wouldn't be "furious" if Hearts Of Iron 2 for instance were available a week earlier in Sweden as opposed to in the USA. Or if Football Manager 2005 was available a week earlier in the UK.
