Note that some parts of the 6min video are from the movie 'les chevaliers du ciel' and some other parts are made with Navy planes. Most of the sequences were filmed in Chad (where the discipline is more... lax).

Ah good thing you posted it, I saw all those "crazy french pilot" clips a couple of years ago, now I don't have to look for them to post them here.

Everybody should see those. At some points the plane is, I dunno, 2 meters above the ground?

One last word about the crazy low level passes. Nearly all the sea scenes were shot at the airbase I was posted a few years ago. It's near the Dune de Pyla, 60km from Bordeaux. The thing is that we have a huge bombing range and that throughout the year we have squadrons that come to the base to drop a few practice shots. And while they're here, in the south of France, away from the boss, having fun in the bars at night... Well, they just go berserk, you know, they do things they hardly have the chance to do at home. This is kind of like holiday sex for them
