This can be used to inform other members of the Council when you are unavialable to play.

So let us know when you want an RDO, MHD, a sicky or Holiday Leave

EDIT ... just in case these terms are Aus-centric.
RDO = Rostered Day Off
MHD = Metal Health Day which is a personal day when you just feel it is better not to goto work.

Sorry for the long delay, I have had an unexpected frantically hectic RL scenario. Wild extreme weather added to tension at home.

And a fireworks display which I was shooting was never sure to go ahead until 1 hour before firing (total fire ban for weeks then solid rain beginning the day before which led to it's own set of difficulties, calminating in a real concern of the site flooding)

It did go ahead and was appreciated

But got a bit precarious at times with half the fuses damp and requiring somewhat dangerous close attention.

Anyway I'm back ... and with all extremities intact

Hi guys

A friend of mine (who is the licencee of my local pub) is bi-polar and is unfortunately having a severe episode. We had to have him hospitalised today. I am offering morale support to him and his wife and will be assisting behind the bar where I can.

Therefore I am not focuses on the game at the moment and will be having a bit of a break.

Good luck with the goody hut popping and exploration.

ps. I hope a boat is built soon

Hey everyone - some sad news... my two month old daughter started having some seizures, and we'll be spending the next couple days in the hospital with her. I'm actually positing this from the hospital.

Anyway - needless to say, I won't be very active till things get settled down.
So far, we've had pretty good news - there's nothing seriously wrong that needs immediate attention, but they want to run a bunch of tests to make extra sure.

My wife and I would certainly appreciate any prayers.

I hope to have a good update for everyone in a few days.

Hey everyone, I've got a quick update on the situation with my daughter.
Unfortunately, things haven't quite gone like we've hoped. The medication is helping with the seizures, but hasn't completely stopped them. The doctors aren't sure why. So they're keeping her in the hospital for more tests till they can figgure out what's going on.

Fortunately, we've got lots of support from friends, family, and our church - and we're working with some really excellent doctors and neurologists with great reputations.
I've used up most of my leave time from work, so we've worked out a shift schedule with my family to make sure someone is always here with my daughter while my wife and I try to get some more sleep and I get back to work.

Since I'll be back at work, I'll have more time to post off-and-on, but you've all been really kind, so I wanted to make sure I was keeping you in the loop on what's going on.

I didn't expect anything more than just a fun game when I joined the CFC community, and I have to say I'm really glad to have made some good friends here. Thank you for all your kind words, thoughts and prayers.

I'll be away until tomorrow (30-5-2007) evening, around midnight. I just played the save and don't expect we need to play again before I get bak, but just in case, could someone do that? There's not a whole lot to do probably: whip the rax in TA, and start the anarchy. Prevent riots and starvation. Thanks.

I leave for vacation tomorrow. I will be back after July 5. I should have some internet while I'm in Anchorage, but we are travelling around somewhat as well.

I've got a 12 hour flight tomorrow, so that should give me some time to update the Armory

I have some sad news. My daughter is back in the hospital with a new, unrelated heart condition.

Fortunately, the seizures haven’t returned – but now she has a virus in her heart that’s pretty serious. The left side of her heart is enlarged and isn’t pumping blood like it should. Unfortunately, because it’s a virus, there are only a limited number of things they can do.
We’ve got some of the best doctors in the region looking at her and a lot of people praying for her – but it’s still very scary, obviously.

Anyway – My activity around here is going to be pretty spotty. I can’t sit in the Intensive Care room all the time, so I’ll probably pop in-and-out – but I wanted you all to know what was going on.
We believe God took care of us last time, and we’re trusting that He will again.
