The best part is seeing the little one on vacation.

It's actually Northern Idaho (but just 2 hours from where I live in Eastern Washington) - We stayed at Priest Lake and you can read more about the big hike here and the waterfall hike with Evangeline here.
@Donsig - thanks, yeah we were really glad to have Evangeline be able to go and enjoy herself! ... considering that this same time last year we spent the entire month in the Hospital, this was a much better July
That hiking backpack we carried her around in had a pocket just perfect for her Feeding Pump, so we could totally keep her fed and hydrated on the hikes without trouble. It was actually pretty awesome and convenient.

I'll be out of town from wednesday to next wednesday (30th of July through 6th of August). I should be able to get internet access occasionally. But no chance to play. 
With the current pace I might be able to play crucial turn 204 though (and hopefully enter the Modern Times
). If not I'll compose some detailed plans in the Preturn and Grand Strategy threads.

It was fun, but I have too many other obligations (like the deathmatch which I should be playing right now

hey all - sorry about going awol.
All the snow apparently harmed my wireless internet connection somehow?
They're not supposed to get a technician out to look at my setup till next week
I had to stop by work briefly today - hence my ability to post here.

General, this reminds me of the beautiful picture of your daughter you had sent last chrismas when you were really happy to have her home. 
I hope she's still doing well and you and your family (and everybody else here of course!) enjoy this and many more chrismas days!

Maybe I'll try to post another picture of my daughter here when we get time to upload the camera to the PC.
Anyway - things are melting around here (we were up to 3+ feet at the peak) - and my internet is back to working intermittently.
I'm going to start reading and trying to catch back up. It might be a little bit before I feel caught up enough to start posting though...
