Assault is still a crime (just because it's an adult male does not make it acceptable), I mean if you hit the guy in the head and he went down and smacked his head on the path he could die (unless you're trying to invoke stand your ground laws). Happened in Newcastle a few years ago. I mean getting punched in the head can kill someone I believe.

Punching another adult man ( as long as they aren't clearly old/disabled/etc and you aren't Bruce Lee or Mike Tyson ) and having them die in one punch is called titanically bad luck. You'd put the craziest fringe-feminists to shame.

Look, I don't habitually pick fights. I'm not some kind of thug. I actually think I'm pretty bad at fighting, truth be told. Stuff happens, though, and you law'n'ordur' types are being stupid. But, then, what else is new?

I've never been in a fight, people I work with have been randomly attacked while doing their job though.

Those who are acting like an isolated fight in a man's life should make him a felon, regardless of how severe or mutual.

Assaulting someone is quite serious I don't see how you can argue against it? Do you often assault other men?

That was the only fight I was involved in ( since childhood ) and the only one I hope to be involved in.

Is freedom to assault in the USofA's Constitution? You'll have to clue me in I'm not American.

Of course not, but jaywalking isn't premeditated murder either. A few guys exchanging punches is not the same as plunging a knife deep in someone's back.

Edit: Law and order type? I suppose that makes it easier for you to dismiss my questions but I wouldn't say I am.

Law and Order type = automatically assuming anyone the police pick up is scum. Deep seated desire to end "wasteful" trials and get right to the fun punishments.

Normal, otherwise law-abiding people get arrested for minor stuff from time to time. It happens. Just saying "hang'em high!" is not practical or moral.
