Crusade! - "Middle Ages" scenario

If we are not putting these rules to a vote and it sounds if they are set, I will follow them.
a relic can be moved once you capture it(enter its square and defete its hold(s)) it will then be under your control until someone does the same to you, it is most like 0/0/1 unit.

Rules

1) General razing rules:

a. No more than 1 city raze per turn in any circumstances. (is not counted here auto-razing when you conquer a 1 pop city)
b. No raze at all for main capitals cities as Byzatium, Jerusalem, Paris, etc.
c. No raze cities with population 6+ until they have 6 pop
d. No razing the same turn you capture a city

2) No alliances with other c-groups.
4) No dogpiles on weakest nations.
5) No war in the first five turns
6) No diplomacy first turn with AI
7) No more than 1 alliance Human_1 + AI vs Human_2 at a time (however, MPP's with more than 1 AI should be allowed, although given the nations involved, I think this might be moot).

If we all agree (or no one disagree's), I will add these to the post on the first page.

Not rule related, but how do you move a relic??

Its all good to me.
Rule #2 C = Cultural Group?

Relics, which to get the 10,000VPs, must be returned to Jerusalem.
A Relic is picked up by a unit. The Relic moves as the unit does.

Well historical the vikings did trade all over this map.

Dogpile = All the other nations declaring war, all at once, against the weakest nation.

just thought id warn you first

I'm not trying to be argumentative but the present owner of the relic is trying to take it to the Holy City Jerusalem to receive VP am i right? Those that do not have a relic are trying to capture relics and take them to Jerusalem.
My Kings gather to feast with his Warriors, My Vessels are at sail and from atop all my many great mountains the view is spectacular.

Eclipse4449, It completely depends on your own goals/interests. But basically you want to get as many VP's as possible and/or survive. Getting a relic to the holy land will certainly give you a significant number of VP's.

I think Byzantium should be able to ally with anyone as this is historically accurate in so much as they used foriegn armies for protection (including Muslim armies). In gameplay terms it gives Denmark/Abbasids an additional option which should make for a more balanced game.

Thanks for the replies, I must say my CIVing has been 85% pbem, 10% MP and 5% SP and 0% scenario games

The first comment to "Getting a relic to the holy land will certainly give you a significant number of VP's." The Byzantium area seems to be the Gateway to the Holly City by both Land and Sea.
And Greygamer, I like your comment it may mean that I may possibly be an important part of someones plan along with my own, this idea is not generally used in pbem and mp games, so is way cool.
and now a Bold statement "Never use the power meter to guage my strength, for I can command an Army"
