Crusade! - "Middle Ages" scenario

Guys, it is ultimately about FUN. This means, GPS when you can. If people are getting pressured into it, they won't enjoy it, and that defeats the purpose.

OMG lmao , I've got a comment, this game is turning its rounds on an of 3 or 4 days, that is really good,
what is furtive and enigmatic?
Yes I agree I have games with much slower turnaround times. PBEM is by nature slower paced I would ask that if someone hasn't got a file that they let the sender know (by email/PM) rather than just wait a few days. As long as players try to check the forum and email every 24 hours that is fine. Of course yesterday I was online all yesterday morning and didn't get one sav file  until I had something else to do!
I had hoped the response I posted was more humourous than bad tempered but I did feel somewhat singled out. However adyyc apologised and that is fine, I'm  with it.

If I told you what enigmatic was ... I wouldn't be :D as regards furtive let's just say I am keeping a respectful distance from the Byzantines for now.:shifty:

He has 5 games to play plus RL. Have you looked at the "Happy Trails"? Greygamer & I are locked in for the Burning of Rome or Carthage. Moves have to be really thought out. That started on turn one.

OR

Play the Iroquois in the French & Indian PBEM. You are limited at the start. Brave & war parties can die pretty quick. Every units move has to be prejudged.

has this game(s) started?

GPS greygamer.

Vikings invaded England!!!!!!!!!!

2 galleys were sunked. One viking longship lost 1 hp.
4 cities were captured in south England including capital.
London
Chippenham
Nottingham
Thetford
All garisons from those cities were masacred, including two king units. We captured a relic :D
No units lost. 1 warrior managed to redline a berseker  In the rest 1 hp 2 hp lost.
King Harald admit that the defence was really light. 2 swords and a warrior and 2 kings... not all cities were in plan for capturing but...

Unbalanced in your opinion of course.

Still, I would hardly call an unacceptable (in your eyes) offer in peaceful negotiations, to be a cause for war, but I suppose you were looking for an excuse so you have it.

been fun having you around, quarky :D

we, the heroic franks :spear: offer to house our English brethern i a city, soon to be found, should they ask us!

let NO nation go unpunished for their wanton violent attacks.

* have mercy upon the dead soldiers souls (and the franks, should the norse decided they want a villa in the riviera)

Well i belive vikings are quite strong at the begining anyway.
In the other scenario i play France and Germany is out before turn 30 by the hands of Danes.

I hate to do this or say this but I think I sent the turn correctly but I think i sent the GPS to another string could someone acknowledge this

GPS to Blaze Injun
In the light of news from distant lands of Viking diplomacy the Abbasids have despatched a messenger to the 'Dragon ship' passing their lands and pray that they will fare better.

All remaining English soldiers and civilians are being issued with these:

:)

The viking town of Orkney has been sacked. All citizens have been brutally butchered. Men, women, children. There are a few less savages roaming the earth ;)

Remaining English cities have been abandoned as the population prepare for a last deperate stand.
