OK, name the countries that claim portions of Antartica. I'm NOT looking for countries that have bases there although I suspect most, if not all claimants would.

And remember you're not supposed to be looking this up anywhere folks - goodluck!

Norway (Queen Maud land), Belgium IIRC, Chile also does.

As said:UK,Australia,Argentina

New Zealand,Norway (I think)

don´t know exactly:Chile,Sweden,South Africa

Kennelly, Beammeuppy and Goodie Hut have added to the list which is: UK, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Chile and earlier Dell19 got France (which I should have posted) which to my knowledge is all of them.

So how to decide the deserving poster? How about the person who got the most correct answers which would be Dell19. Hope you other guys don't mind. :)

Go ahead Dell19. :goodjob:

the only english river I know:Thames?

Is it the Whitham?

I"m not sure when it comes to Dells, but I just want to put in my two cents about the Antartica question. Actually, nobody has claims to it anymore, the UN, last time I checked, was in the finishing stages of un-claiming, and its continuing de-militarized status.

Woohoo I got it right!!:goodjob:
Here's my question:
Where in the world is Mte.Cinto?

Italy? (very exact)

Italy is very close to the answer. I would add anither clue but then it'll be too simple:D

Nope none of the above, Monaco was the closet answer though.

Well, if it´s not Italy, Switzerland, San Marino and Monaco, but close to them, then only France remains in that area.
:D
