Cumulative Geography Quiz

Nope, nope!

Your are just guessing, doesn´t somebody really know this???

Well, let the guessing continue!
:D

Given Lucky's responses, it has to be either 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, or 14. My guess is 11.

Interesting, I did a search on Google and not one source I have read reported a number other than six, which has been said

OT, has anyone noticed the thread ID? :D

I am almost certain the answer is 6 which I said before. Are you sure you took into account the construction of the Aswan Dam which changed the course of the Nile

Actually the answer I was looking for is 10! :p

There are 6 active cataracts today, the other 4 are buried under lake Nasser, due to the dam. They are still there and during dry periods, they still pose an obstacle to ships, hence the name cataracts.
Those 10 cataracts were totally "active" until the dam was built.
But I´ll give the answer to anarchywrksbest, since 6 would is not really wrong.
:D

I think, rmsharpe is correct, only the spelling not totally right. :p

It should be Eas a'Chual Aluinn, the highest waterfall in Britain (200m) at Loch Glencoul.
