And Astronomy. Copernicus remains one of the most famous Poles ever, if not the most famous.

Together with the Cathedrals goal, it would give Poland the interesting choice between bulbing Astronomy and Printing Press with Liberalism.

Or just "Build 3 Cathedrals".

Problem, Copernicus published in 1543

Don't Cathedrals need 4 churches?

Because he feared prosecution during his lifetime. His work was done decades earlier.

The Dutch will spawn later (1580?). Other than that it's nigh impossible for AI to get to Astronomy before 1500

Come to think of it, perhaps Privateers should have less Tech requirement. I suggest Astronomy +Gunpowder.

Indeed. That's what makes this goal interesting. It's better if you have 6 cities or more.

That's because he couldn't prove it, neither could Galileo (okay well Galileo thought that tides ONCE a day proved the Earth moved, but...)

Okay, cool

So conquest eh?

Huge Map of Poland-Lithuania:

UHVs are supposed to encourage players to (slightly) exceed actual historical achievements.

3 Cathedrals is totally doable with Danzig, Krakow, Kiev, Riga, & Smolensk, all of which should be Core/Historical/Contended for Poland.

It should be near impossible for Poland (as any other civ except Mongols) to take Moscow. But they should have a decent military/expansion, and only die off completely if their neighbors gang up on them (as historical).

Perhaps Prussia should only flip 1 tile south of Memel (down to the Horse) instead of 2. Otherwise you might as well just let them flip Krakow too, and put Poland out of its misery.

that picture is making my computer lag
It is a huge map. I'll put it in Spoiler.

Poland's version of "From Sea to Shining Sea". Hopefully the 3 Cathedrals Goal can reflect that.

Yes, I had 2 cathedrals by 1340 without any whipping except missionaries.
I think it should be changed to two in general, give the decision. ~150 years (30? turns) on normal is not enough time to go spreading Protestantism, get some nasty unhappiness from that many religions though one should go to secularism, but less time as a result.

Bug : Poland's 3 pop 12 goal recognizes the three first cities, not the three largest.

Memel could be Medvegalis (not the same city, but close), the western Königsberg tile can be Gdansk.

Klajpeda? Or should that be saved for later?

Let's guess, and an icon size 64 error with that?

Already been mentioned

I've also added Belgrade (removed one peak NE of the copper, the Balkans are small enough already).

I've yet to see Belgrade in a couple of England/HRE starts, just ruins. Oh, the humanity...
Any way to keep Bzy, et al from stomping them?

It's been razed 44 times in RL...

When I view the civilopedia i see xml text for certain entries.
That's because they haven't been written yet.

Okay, I need to rewrite the code then.

I got a memory allocation error.
Can you upload the save?

I've been thinking about that too, they seem to come a bit too late in my experience, compared to the general game situation - or how to put it - but this early may be too easy for a human to exploit, and hamper the AIs colonization effort too much. But perhaps we should try it out, and test what effect it'll have - both on a human player, and the AIs - if we move 'em forward. Leoreth what do you think about the idea?

Wouldn't they be too strong in this case? I'm tempted to make them require Trading Company (the corporation), but that would limit them to the five civs that can have it.

Has anyone managed to get the 1rst Polish UHV goal ? Riga and Krakow I can get to 12 pop but neither Gdansk nor Kiev can I get to 10 in 1350...

I don't have a save but the error said "Icon size mismatch. 64 size is only allowed by the city indicator compositor".

EDIT: I think it crashed around 1475 as the english

Krakow, Memel, Kiev, Wien all at 12+. Don't whip anything, build lots of farms. I'll settle Sczecin? 1N of Berlin as a city I can actually whip stuff in.
