Can Tibet's spread goal be reduced to 25%? I have spent form 1100 AD onwards whipping missionaries and sending them as far as the Maghreb to achieve the goal, and I am at 29% in 1300 AD.

Except for this, they are my favorite of the new civilizations.

Catholicism should remain if you choose to join the Counter-Reformation.

I see.. but then you're declaring unnecessary war against Protestant Kingdom like Dutch, England, HRE, Prussia that will develop future problem... as beside HRE, these kingdom are almost reaching their peak performance..

Lobsang Gyatso has currently Gandhi's diplomusic, which does not sound Tibetan.
Maybe these songs will work as his themes (early and late),see the attachment.

Tibet's flag and button are still some weird icon that has nothing to do with Tibet at all AFAIK.
I suggest to change it to the Tibetan lion flag that I send to you,Leoreth.

Nobody is listening to me,so I will post again my suggestion of moving Lhasa one tile south.
Which is more accurate, because Lhasa is less then 100 km located from the Yarlung Zangbo river,it should be like this:

Just started a game as the Tibetans and Feudalism costs 1200 beakers (on normal). Is this intended? I know they weren't the most inventive people in real life (mainly because of their isolationism), but that's a bit too slow to my taste. If it gets cheaper over time I'm fine though.

The real power of Tibet Plateau is like general winter of Russia: no other human can breathe&move like Tibetan there. Maybe this: foreign military units without hill III promotion get -50% or -75% strength penalty in Tibet, and siege units cannot enter. In history, no other mankind conquered Tibet until 20th century.

I like this idea, but I would change it to:

The Breath of the Mountain: Foreign military units on Tibetan controlled hills lose 75% strength.

Bengal,Xian and Pataliputra should be contested for the Tibetan Empire because they conquered them in real life.

Current UP is essential to the spread goal, don't change it.

On the subject of a river, Rasa never grows large enough to ever need one, and moving it 1S would interfere with Gron Khyer Me Tog.

About Tech rate, I believe only Arabia has Feudalism at the start.

So? It's not like they can reach you. Making friends with Catholics will be more advantageous in the long run anyway.

Thanks. Can't comment on the tracks themselves (no sound atm), but Ghandi's music was only a placeholder so these will come in handy.

You're right, Tibet itself doesn't produce that much commerce so they don't need such a low research modifier.

Bengal,Xian and Pataliputra should be contested for the Tibetan Empire because they conquered them in real life.
But didn't keep them for long so it makes sense that they become unstable from that.

By the way, Gron Khyer Me Tog and Rasa are the only distinct Tibetan names I've got at the moment, the Tibetans are using Chinese names otherwise. If someone knows anything else, please let me know.

Now that Tibet is in, I'd like to suggest that Mongols, Chinese & England get the Plateau as a Contested Region.
By the way, 75% reduction for foreign troops? That's kind of dubious.
It is true that China today has to build special oxygen barracks in Tibet to help their troops adjust to the
environment but it apparently didn't stop the Sikhs from entering Tibet during the Sino-Sikh War or Britain's entry afterwards.

What I would suggest, is a UP that works somewhat like this:
+1 Base Food in all Buddhist cities for all civilizations running Buddhism as their state religion.

After testing it myself again, I changed the deadline to 1500 AD which should give you enough time to get missionaries to Europe.

And yes, the 2nd Congo goal is showing as green, but still failing.

I am also playing a Tibetan game, and for some reason, have open borders with Independents, which is making getting the 5 city goal... close to impossible.

EDIT: Nope, goal is impossible. Trying another game to see if the open borders thing was just a fluke. :)

Khampas can go through borders. Take an archer and right click on the indies, then move it back.

yay Tibet! :D
I foresee them as the new ultimate indepent city snatchers XD

btw I got 29% two times before 1400 but i failed miserably in the end :(

Oh and their city counter for the first goal seems to count the founded cities too, you might want to fix that! :)

Well now that I knew some of my units could go through borders and some could not, I gave a Tibet game a full try. Pushing for 5 cities is extremely easy, since you still get a few barbarian free kills with no barbarians attacking you, so the 2 cities to the north can be taken effortlessly. Grabbing the holy city first is vital. Then grab Pagan, and switch to scholasticism. It's easy to get 4 great prophets out of pataliputra before the Mughal respawn. The 30% Buddhism is a little tough, but after figuring out my missionaries can enter Independent cities as well, I had it done well before 1400AD. The last half of a Tibet game is unbelievably boring though, especially on Marathon. Basically what you have to do is turtle with Lhasa while building the last great prophet. So I spent a while just sitting there and spamming the space bar. I would have went on the conquest into India, but it seems none of my stronger units could go southward anymore due to jungles. Since I can't take anything with Khampas anymore, and a war with the Mongol Empire was just asking to be destroyed, I was forced to turtle.

Dutch and/or England is at South Africa and/or Gold Coast..
Then you get random pointless -2 diplomacy penalty "You've declared war on our friend" from almost all civilization.. :(

I just saw the flag thanks to your screenshot.
It's Dpal be'u, which is a symbol of Tibetan Buddhism and one of the most distinct symbol about Tibet.

Which lion? What's the relevance to Tibet? Because logo with Lion/Horse is pretty common and not unique.
