Ok, yet compare what they pay to buy iron and coal, first materials, to what they get paid for the cars they sell. Not sure what your issue was with my statement o_O

A lot of the cars Toyota and Honda make in the US are assembled in the US, parts are sourced outside japan as well so I'm not sure how relevant this is. This is just a chart of sale of brands, not country of origin.

Even nine or ten kilos of steel dropped from chest height can break some foot bones. Personal experience. 90 would reduce it to pulp.

Why ? A "superstar" probably has far more people working on his success. Sound engineers, marketing people, backup songers/dancers, everyone involved in organizing and managing a concert.
I'm not making an argument to give a large share to some POS label shareholder, just to the people who actually work.
