DarthNES II - Superpowers Redux

From: Russian Federation

CC: Japan

As per ongoing talks between the Kremlin and the Japanese government in Tokyo, we present the Russo-Japanese Friendship Agreement, with the intention of solidifying for posterity the friendly and cooperative intentions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Japan towards each other. The terms of this international compact are provided below:

1. The Russian Federation and the Republic of Japan agree that mutual cooperation and alliance are in their mutual best interests, and pledge themselves to such an agreement.

2. The Russian Federation and the Republic of Japan consider mutual defense and cooperation a priority, and intend to establish a precedent for each others' aid and beneficence, should both parties deem it necessary to intervene on the other's behalf.

3. The Russian Federation and the Republic of Japan consider these terms as a groundwork from which to move towards a more amicable, more open and more coordinated relationship between their two nations. To that end, both parties agree to addend this treaty as necessary, or annul it with future agreements, to whatever purposes might become relevant in the future.

Your attempts to subvert the friendships and alliances of this great nation are neither appreciated nor unnoticed; we will be watching your lardy, overweight American behinds (unfortunately) should you attempt any further dereliction of the Russian Federation's relationships with its neighbors. Please feel free to elect a hick from nowhere and become an isolationist backwater whenever you get the urge.

Are you intentionally trying to be racist? :cringe:

We, unlike you, are aware of our nations geography without people needing to point it out. Just because no American can find their country on the map does not mean the Chinese cannot.

While we welcome an the growth of friendship and cooperation, we have no interest in an alliance at this time.

To Japan
from Indonesia

We accept your proposal and may your nation rise to a pacific superpower.

To Japan, India and the People's Republic of Greater China

May our nations form The Cooperative Pact of Eastern Civilization?
That would make Asia the gist of the planet.

We would like to inform Indonesia that Japan is already an East Asian superpower, and we have no interest for an alliance at this time.

Given your status as our greater trading partner, and our common past of friendship, we would like to suggest the possibility of establishing a Cooperation and Friendship Agreement between both of us. Such an Alliance could be naught but good for both of us, and anything good should be allowed, nay, encouraged, to happen.

In the off-chance that Russia might get off of it's permanent bender and starts trying to mess up our world peace and tranquility, we accept.

Your children have been making our maps cheaply for so long, we are glad that they took the time to give them a look. We were concerned that was not the case; after all impoverished masses aren't necessarily the most learned group. We figured we'd give you a warning before Russian/Mongolian hordes pour across the border from the north, as they so often do. We all know how that usually ends; we figured we'd give you a head start this time.

Ill take Nigeria if that's all right.

For Update 0, I want the following:

1.) The name of your leader.
2.) The name of your nation (if you decide to change it).
3.) Take 150% of your starting income plus 30c and spend it on your militaries. You can buy units, new armies/fleets/air wings, specializations, and/or training. Each of you already has one free army, fleet, and air wing which you can dump units into. However, you must pay the 10c to build any new army/fleet/air wing, not including the units that can be attatched to it. Keep in mind the rules about upkeep. You cannot spend any of these credits on things that do not directly effect your military (techs, metropolises, etc). Additionally, you may not bank these credits. Yes, you will be spending 50% of your income into debt and yes it will be represented in your stats. The extra 30c is on me and won't be added to your debt.
4.) Place your armies/fleets/air wings in your cities. Assume the army was constructed there. No fleets being built near tiny coastal towns and no jets and tanks being constructed in the middle of nowhere. If you can't figure out which city is which, look it up. The cities are usually in the top 40 in population and are as close to there actual location on the map as possible. If you still can't figure it out, send me a image of the map with the city in question circled and I'll do the rest.
5.) Go ahead and name your armies, fleets, and air wings. If you don't end up naming them, I'll give them names.

I want all these sent to me in ONE (1) PM with the title "Superpowers Redux - [Insert Nation Here] Orders" or something to that effect. Orders for Update 0 are due Saturday, March 23rd at 11:59pm EST. If I get orders early, naturally, the update will come out sooner. GET GOING!

In which TLK precludes anyone using public figures for their stories ever again.

Everyone had an equal opportunity to find 17 fake characters for their fake governments. I just sent you 30 possible candidates off the top of my head, since you always seem to struggle with finding your own. >:C

Quick question: With the free army, navy, and air wing, do we have to pay for the soldiers inside the free units or is everything in that unit free?

EDIT: Including upgrades in Experience and Specialisations?

Question: why did Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, Cyprus, Malta and the United Kingdom abandon the European Union/Federation? Also, why did Spain and Portugal lose the Canary Islands, Azores and Madeira?

EDIT: In the interest of being fair, I'd note that Greenland abandoned the European Union in 1985, and that Iceland has never been a part of it.

Because the EU is already OP as is? Because this is obviously a game and not a reflection of reality?
