DarthNES II - Superpowers

We Have Ideas On How To Rebuild Cuba, Should You Wish To Allow Us To Help. May We Suggest A Communist Government? We Find That It Is Most Suitable To Rebuild A Nation Under It's Warm Embrace- Said Nation Usually Ends Up Better Off Anyway. We Fear The Two Of You Creating A Nation State Is Like The Blind Leading The Blind.

We Only Have One Gear In Which To Operate, And That Gear Is 'Go'.

Now wait a minute... didn't we go there to get rid of Communism in the first place? Now let me tell you something, let me tell you something, Brazil. If everyone is equal: everyone is dead. If a clock's gears are all the same size, there is no advantage. You would just have a mass of useless little gears. Capitalism is Leverage. If we all found a mountain that we have to climb, and no one wants to be singled out, it will not be climbed. If we all reach for the mountain top, those who get there first are free to help the lower ones up. That is why America is Powerful! God Bless America!

Hmm, a Communistic government? An interesting suggestion. Perhaps the head of Raul Castro can lead them. I'm sure his blindness will lead them to glory.

We all know the Mexican government is really a facade for the drug cartels.

@Terrance888 - Wait...you mean the incredibly hard to read map? It would have been nice if you had put something to the tune of "split Cuba" in that post so I wouldn't look at those five colored lines/blobs and give up on what you are trying to say. Also, the map STILL wasn't in your orders. I'm not going to comb the social group just because you don't feel like typing a short sentence in your orders. [/RANT]

@Dreadnought - You never ordered the Army of Babylon to move...you had the Army of the Nile moving both to Kuwait and to that southern destination. I assumed Kuwait was more important.

D'oh! Mental mistake on my part when writing orders. Sorry.

No problem. You could probably get to wherever you want to [insert country name here] in one turn anyways.

Also, everyone, I noticed Bahrain is too small to fit a city on. Assume it has one. Additionally, Singapore is a nation which may be mistaken for a city in Malaysia. Malaysia only has three cities, not four.

We wish to know if you would be willing to sign a non-aggression treaty between both of our nations. Also, we can not help but being angry at the way you have been treating the people of the former regions of Armenia and Azerbaijan, and we ask of you that you change your ways and become more of a role model for them.

We, once more, would like to offer the services of our diplomats in attempting to reach an agreement between both parts of this civil war.

So be it. You had a chance to do this pacifically, which would have prevented unnecessary deaths on both your and our side (but mostly on your side).

We will not negotiate with the filthy Communist swine. Their complete and utter destruction is our goal, and we will achieve nothing less.

Any deaths in our war will be completely your fault. You are the ones who chose to start this whole ordeal, but we will be the ones who end it.

To: República Federativa do Brasil

It is a pity. We really hoped that you were willing to engage in diplomatic conversations. This reluctance from your part to engage in such conversations will only create death and destruction.

To: Serbia

Why is independence so important to you? See how the nations of Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania and Macedonia prosper under the blue flag of the European Federation. Few people in those regions, once we have arrived there, have reason to complain about us. We have brought jobs to them. We have paid for the reconstruction of zones that had been in ruins since the Yugoslav Wars. We have arranged for every person to have access to socialized medicine. We still may have a long way to go till everything in the Balkans is at the same level it is in the rest of the Federation, but the results are already showing, the local population's standard of living is now above the one they had before the Federation came. And, at no moment, have the people's rights been violated. No, in fact they have been expanded.
The European Federation, while it may engage in military pursuits to expand, always welcomes the nations it takes over as brothers in this new world we are in. We would love for Serbia to join us, to become other brother in the Federation, to heal all the injuries caused by years of war, and for all of us to be joined against greater threats.
Although we have little hope that you will answer positively to this latter answer, we still have that hope.

We know that you aren't willing at all to become part of the European Federation (despite all the advantages doing so would bring to your lands), but we would like to know if you would be willing to sign a defensive pact with us, so that, were either one of you or us to be attacked by a third party, all of the others would declare war on said third party. What is your opinion?

From: Russian Federation
To: European Federation

Our embassy in Brussels was surprised to receive messages from the European Federation offering a proposal of a pact of non-aggression, followed thereafter by the pretension for that nation to ally itself with countries on the border with Russia as if it was preparing for war. Your rank hypocrisy has been noted.

We encourage you not to sign any treaties with these European dogs, who would turn on you for scraps.

If any of the nations who you currently control ever wanted to be part of your frankensteinian nation, they would have joined without the "influence" of your armies. The only reason why they rest in your hands was their lack of military power, and that is the same reason they do not fight for their freedom. Serbia however has the power to put you down, to protect our sovereignty and to protect the Serbian way of life. We do not need you nor want you, ever.

Sad, ain't it, when offers of friendship are taken as some kind of aggression. Our offer to other nations was only of a defensive nature, so neither you nor them had any reason to be afraid of it. Our offer of a non-aggression pact still stands, unless you are planning to attack us.

From: European Federation
To: Serbia

Who said that the Serbian way of life would have been erradicated if it were part of the European Federation? Perhaps you may not know it, but one of the European Federation's unofficial mottos is "United in Diversity". The only thing Serbia would lose would be... uhhh... having its president, prime minister and cabinet making all the decisions. Serbia does have more to gain than to lose by joining the Federation.

If that is your wish, we are alright with it, we will leave you alone. Just don't come in crying when other nation comes to your home and does everything we would not do. Namely respecting your rights and freedoms. (OOC: Of course, you still have the right to make stupid things, but hey, nobody said democracy is perfect)

There is no need to be so childish, gentlemen. And do you price your sovereignty so much, considering that your people would be much better off were they to become part of the Federation? Do you put your pride so much over your needs? Just wondering.
