Traius, I can see you're clearly genuinely upset, and I hope whatever other stuff you've got going on gets better for you. This is just a game, and you're right to step away from it if it's getting to you.

Back in game, and with my cold, hard, analytical hat on, it seems clear to me that traius' posting have been influenced by how he's feeling rather than scumminess. unvote

Kennigit has really gone for civcube in a way that suggests he's absolutely certain. This is day 3, and I just don;t see it being worth a mafioso's time to go so definitely for someone they think innocent, with the risk of drawing ire (except possibly to save a mafioso from the lynch, but I'm already inclined to believe traius innocent, as I said). So I think Kennigit definitely believes his accusation. (That doesn't make Kennigit town, of course - he might be part of a rival mafia). [The only thing nagging at me about this is that townie Earthling did of course pull an unfounded accusation against townie Dreadnaught in Halo mafia at a similarly early point in the game. I still don't understand why he did it, but, Kennigit, if you are townie and trying something similar, please note it really really didn't help the town].


That doesn't mean CivCube is definitely guilty: Kennigit might have wrong information in someway, or misinterpreted it. And I think the points others have made of Jango being an odd cover role, as opposed to a mafia role, are right. But Kennigit's all-in approach makes it the strongest case against anyone. vote: CivCube

I just didn't bother to search for the Kennigit quote since I thought people were reading the thread but apparently you aren't.

I am, I just like everyone to actually post reasoning with their votes, it's just easier for everyone. Even just "for what Kennigit said" would be sufficient.

But the question is WHY you got your role out there. There was no pressure on you, and if it was privately (I'd assume from Kennigit), claim in private and be done with it. Publicly claiming seems to be some sort of preemptive thing so the town will be on your side rather than listen to Kennigit.

I personally think that Jango could go either way. Maybe that's how Maul was killed so early. Maul and Fett knew who each other were, and Jango was mafia. Could've thought that Maul was in a completely different team of scum.

Or the kill was random and Jango is innocent or a cover role. I'd have to say that Jango is more likely not to have a cover role and just be straight scum. The role could be claimed either way.

On tarius: I suspect he is Palpatine, but his recent action makes me think he just has something IRL, in which case, logging of right now is the right choice. Thus, I will not pile on the ridiculouswagon against him. Now analysis (note that suspicous in the following list does not mean that there is a strong case for you being mafia, it means there is no strong case against you being mafia):

yeah I'd think that is something that is likely as well, for metagame and actual reasons
metagame: choxorn is no stranger to lynch stopping mafia/godfather roles
in game: the Senate called off the lynch iirc, and of course that can point to Palpatine.

since I think we've gotten as much info on who is reluctant to vote, etc etc, I have a physical scanning ability that primarily looks at the growth of hair from a character's face. As far as I know (and other(s) seem to agree), absolutely no depiction of jango anywhere shows him with a nice big goatee/beard. Spaceman (claimed watto) also has a beard, which can be consistent with the ep 3 watto (see comic 292 for bearded watto).

I do want to note civcube is consistently very funny in PMs, and I was of course messing around and called him dooku from the start. But I role revealed to him and hoped maybe he was going to be an important townie like quigon, but instead he thinks he is the clean shaven clone army of jangos.

I'd like to say my role but I think someone has to kill me, and I'm close to my PG. If someone has a beard I'll scan you and that will fulfill my PG, and I'm perfectly fine to die afterwards. Though if someone has to kill me they can figure it out easily from the comics I assume. I haven't read the comics since like 2008/end of phantom menace.

edit: for in game reasons, my role fits balance nicely as it can see through cover roles without actually being a "good" scan by any real measure. I think it would be most helpful finding dooku (assuming he is a bad guy in darth and droids), which I may have done.
