I have a very simple scanning ability. I scan someone, then I find out whether or not that person is Palpatine. Once Palpatine is found, I can then execute my secondary ability, fulfilling my personal goal. Using this secondary ability on not-Palpatine reveals my identity to them.

So you have three abilities, one of which involves surviving any kind of death? And you're telling me you're townie with a straight face?

Clear as day, Mech is Anakin. Anakin survived his death in volcanic Naboo and was always around Palpatine.

No, the scan is a seperate ability. Would be a pretty useless scan if it only revealed one person and revealed myself to everyone I investigate.

And back to my earlier question... Who isn't Palpatine? There should be at least one obvious person you've scanned by now.

Sort of. Anakin turns everyone against each other, but Palpatine turns him into a obedient servant after Anakin's near death experience. Because Mechaeric has been almost killed, I suspect something like a cult conversion has occurred.
