What I really want to know why Mat93 isn't analyzing posts, offering theories, and other things. That's not his style. But he could have a good reason...
My analyzations are usually wrong, and I haven't been paying close enough attention to the game.
Not a good excuse, but there you go... and perhaps the same thing some of the other lurkers are doing. Though, if someone would like to know what exactly my role is, I'd be more than happy to tell you.

My thoughts:
Palpatine is a perfect Masterchief role, but since the cult killed JHT this turn, I doubt he/she could have been converted. While mechaerick was a cult leader, the cult would not have converted Zack, so unless he was in a pointlessly elaborate bussing operation, he/she was not converted then. Therefore, as suspicious as Zack's "network" is, he/she was not cultified recently. Could he/she have been somehow insiduous before? Yes, but a mix of scan and his effective scumhunting make that unlikely. Actually, there is a remote possibility that every cultist can kill or convert (perhaps with a probability attached) and Zack was converted, but that would be OP. My suspicion is this: Zack is a third party with one goal: To get the orb at all costs. Not inherently anti-town as giving himher the orb could be mutually benificial, or he/she may just blow up the planet...
I still don't like BL either. His/her PG confirms his roleclaim, but his/her logic is terrible and his/her desire for the orb is strange in the context of his role. That makes me think BL is a jester, especially since his power is after death. I have nothing against vidging him/her, but we have bigger fish to fry.
Specifically, vote: Topsecret, who is often much more active than this, but has hardly posted today, or in this game. Also, something about Mergle strikes me as slightly off, but not enough for a vote or a case... Just, I find his willingness to defend Zack strange and his statements about the killer in stormtrooper armor (instead of a stormtrooper) seem to be PIS.

Also Ord to G3tC, since he is the vidge and if he does not kill, we know he was converted, so that is reliable and without the risk that Zack+orb = planet buster.

It seems to me that the declaration of azzaman having "cult suspicion" has actually been revealed as no actual proof. Just some sort of logic saying "I think the cult would have converted the most town looking person, ergo it must be azzaman." It that basically what was going on here? With the addition that we aren't "useful"?
What is defined as useful now? Considering that I doubt that the Doctor and Scanner are about to take a step forward everyone else is going to consider them part of the "useless" side of things.
Look if we are basically throwing everything out of the window and are back to square one we can at leas be sensible. For instance, for those pointing fingers at spaceman, his role is Watto and his ability is a 50% fail rate on actions taken against him, this will probably include attempts at cult conversions. So he holds onto his "most likely town" label.
Meanwhile topsecret and jarrema have protection abilities which could apply to cult conversions. Making their own status "pro-town".
Aside from these three everyone is back to "Suspicious" again. most importantly I think we need an explanation on how Mech was found. Can the Scanner actually root out cults or was that just a wild stab in the dark by Zack? Especially as Zack is using the Scanners ability check on azzaman to back his "Cultish suspicion" reason for ordering Yoda to off him.
