Capitalism put Russian Empire into great chaos as capitalists and local nobles fougt to what are the rights og the people. However, either system couldn't solve the large problem of economic stagnation. Russian economy was merely alive, but couldn't develop at all.
Russian espionage increased its efficiency dramatically, but it couldn't fully protect Russia.
Patriarchate of Mukden continued the christianization of the chinese.
Uglishian decided to spread their church in their colony against Catherine's will. Uglisian church, that was in communion with the pope and then broke off during reformation was always a source of controversy in orthodox Russia.
Russian purchases:
Due to the increased maintainance costs Catherine in accordance with the royal council decided to sell away some "useless" territories.
Although the royal council wanting to keep pekin as an administrative center Catherine knew that Xian was a far more importan, comercial and productious city. So she gave away Pekin and chosed Xian to serve as the administrative center. It would take some time to construct properly the city though.
Other geopolitics events:
Fins revolted in 1778. They didn't manage to take control of all the country, but unfortunately Russians lost control of most Finland.
Germans took Paris. meanwhile, England started to take control over India thus becoming the second power in the world. However, Germans were the real threat.
Anatolia ceded the Ottoman empire with the blessing of Almohads.
After long negotiations Catherine managed to get the Alaskan bronze mines from the British.
Iranians started to win the war against Mughals. However, Catherine should wait until peace, before she can give control of Lahore to iran.
Deals:
Catherine signed a deal with Iran to share our hapiness resources.
Russian capitalists joined Iranian Liberalists and exchanged interesting ideas. Catherine was cautious that these ideas might be dangerous.
Indian tea was a well known luxury of this era.
Catherine thought about constitutional reforms like the prince Alexander I did.
However, russians liberals found the "cause" they wanted to start their own revolution. It was the first time of an abdication movement.

Although Russia was undergoing political changes, a minor matter was the religious matters of Russia. People from both sides wanted to make Russia a secular state.

I believe more power should be centralized into the capital, the threats and challenges we face in this age cannot be met by individual grafts but by a strong central body able to impose uniform standards across all of Russia.
My only regret is that our beloved Monarch cannot take all responsibilities on herself, thus some delegation is required and a new parliamentary body can fulfill that role.
