Hey all. I have moved the early deadline for orders to September 18, because it makes sense to give people a weekend to work on their orders. However, it also means that you have about 4 days left to get it all together.
Early orders deadline for Update 2, i.e., all economic, domestic, and diplomatic orders are due by: September 18, 2017, at 9 am CST.
Late orders deadline for Update 2, i.e., all military orders are due by: September 23, 2017, at 9 am CST.

dont push back the late orders deadline, I think there are few enough players involved we don't need another two days for them.
Yeah, the late deadline stayed as it was. It's mostly for me, not for players (but if somebody benefits from that, hey, you're welcome!). I primarily work on the game during the work week.
Unfortunately, there has been allegations against Sokoto against Her Majesty's Realms, that the Princes of Sokoto sought to kill Christians in our fair communities. We are outraged and we demanded they allow Portuguese troops to investigate, but were rejected.
As such, we are forced to declare war on Sokoto.

Border Garrisons to be increased
The Secretariat of National Defense and Secretariat of the Interior announced that garrisons along the Confederate border would be doubled. While the size of the Army and Guardia Rural garrison would be smaller than the Confederates it would be a significant increase than in previous years. However, the forces shall focus on law enforcement than any foreign aggression. The area had seen a conflict in previous years between Vaqueros and smugglers on both sides and while no major blood has been spilled the situation has become a wound according to the Interior Secretariat.

With the growing economy, the demand for skilled workers has grown across the nation. While urban cities have many schools, institutes, and Universities the rural areas of the country have only received a fraction of government spending. This will change in this year with local, state and the national government funding the expansion and construction of new schools. These will be primary schools that focus on Writing, Reading, and Arithmetic with promising candidates gaining scholarships to High or Technical Schools.
The next Industrial power?
With the increased investment from overseas and government spending, the government established the Ferrocarriles Nacionales de México to construct a pan-national railroad network. The program, while ambitious has drawn praise and observers state that in a few years the Mexican heartland could have just as well-developed infrastructure as its north-eastern neighbors. The government will also begin a process of labor reforms and technological research to begin the process of converting Mexico from an agricultural and mineral producer to an industrial economy. While it will take many years to match to the level of industrial output of the United Kingdom, Germany or UNAS the progress is underway and will produce dramatic results.

I'm still working on calculating all orders, so the stragglers (@SouthernKing , @J.K. Stockholme , @thomas.berubeg , @Terran Empress , @Reus , @JohannaK , @Bair_the_Normal , @Spagetty , @justokre , @Belgarion95 , @jackelgull , and @Brougal ) will be allowed to send in their economic and domestic order until the war orders deadline (September 23), although you all will receive Challenge Rating penalty.
Also, as per the rule I established earlier, missing your orders two turns in a row drops the player. The following players are at risk of dropping this turn: @Bair_the_Normal , @Spagetty , @jackelgull .

Due to other commitments and the fact that I'm not feeling the greatest irl at the moment I'm going to have to drop. I'm really really sorry to Ahigin and everyone I was in contact with because I know fully that my inability to pay attention to this game has let all you down. I don't have an excuse for it.
