The game will be down Sunday from around 12:30 PM (-7 GMT) until about 5 PM. More work is getting done in the computer room. I will freeze the game with at least ten hours on the clock so if I have to the game might go down before 12:30. Sorry for the inconvenience but I must appease the wife occasionally.

As noted above I shall be taking over from Classical Hero for the foreseeable future, he has supplied me with all the passwords etc and I have managed to log in successfully.

I hope Classical feels better but until then good to see MD and thanks for helping us keep this game going.

As you all can see if you are signed up in civstats the game is back up. We have 13 hours on the clock and 1 player to go. My computer room is now freshly painted but horror of horrors the blinds were the wrong size. What this means is that my neighbors can still see into the room and watch me...play civ. What this means for you guys is that next weekend I will have another outage to put blinds up so my long suffering neighbors don't have to watch me...play civ.

We just lost 4 hours on the clock. Some how I knocked the game down while I was trying to logon. I must have been punch drunk after spending all day with the family in Reno in 100 degree weather. Anyway it only effected Kmac unless someone else was logged on exactly when I did it.

Bolkonsky - you kind of jumped the gun. Most of the time we talk about it first THEN patch the game and make sure everyone can get in synch. One host is shutting down his game from the 23rd to 25th to give everyone a good chance.

I just became aware of the patch. When I get home from work today I will put the game on hiatus for 3 days so that everyone can patch. When you get the patch please post here.

P.S. I will restart the game on July 25th around 8 AM Pacific Standard Time (-7 GMT) Anyone who has not patched by this time will be kicked to AI and replaced unless they make other arrangements. As I have time I will e-mail or PM every player to make sure they are aware of the Patch and the deadline.

I am all patched up. Lets keep this thing rolling once we all have 2.14. This is my first pittboss game and I am having a great time. Thanks deleatur and the rest of you. It is a little slow, but much more interesting than playing the AI constantly.

I have tested the pitboss after patching and it appears to work. I had to go download the new direct x. Everything worked after that. So who still needs to patch?
