My desktops at home & work are similar in that they're both webshots, loaded up only with photos I've taken. The background image changes to a new random photo every hour.

At the moment I went to snap a screenshot, I had this:

But it changed by the time I had uploaded the image and was getting ready to post it, so here's the new one:

Also, imagine a huge white area streaked with colored lines roughly covering the area below the icons on the left extending to and covering the CPU usage monitor widget on the right, a black splotch at the lower left corner with green and black lines below the three leftmost icon columns, and a few lines extending from top to bottom near the leftmost icon column, to represent my cracked LCD monitor.
