Differences in moderation: Apolyton vs CFC.

This brings us to another difference in moderation between cfc and poly. On CFC, a thread where people encourage eachother to spamraid Apolyton and call their mods names would be forbidden. Apparently on poly saying such things about cfc is allowed.

Indeed. That is a difference.

"Selectively enforces its rules" - evidence?

"treat everyone like big boys and girls" - sounds like an opinion rather than fact.

1) I base that off of 9+ years of posting experience here. If you don't believe it then you don't remember the old mods.

2) The part about treating people like adults is proven by the fact that the mods don't follow everyone around like nannies on poly. That's called "treating people like big boys and girls" instead of needing nanny mods to follow them around to wipe their poopy bums.

Fantasy sports leagues are indeed more active at poly though I tend to avoid them since I think the moderator, Imran, is a douche.

Consecutive posts made within a few minutes of each other are not allowed here. Either edit your previous post or wait until somebody else has posted.

Oh, I used to do that a lot but usually because I was responding to another post from someone else and I didn't know (still dont) how to edit in a response to a 2nd or 3rd or 4th person. Now I just type their name in and add their quote and my response, but it looks kinda sloppy that way.

If you use the multiquote feature, you won't have this problem.


Moderator Action: This thread went downhill from the get-go, for far too many reasons and rules violations. CFC does not allow denigration of other Civ sites. Even with the moderation that has been done on this thread, there is still too much wrong with it to allow it to continue.
