DipNESN: We Lost Count

I'd also strongly recommend that each player send in early, preliminary orders as soon as possible in case something happens the day they are due.

lurker's comment: Turkey could have sent in orders as soon as he knew he was Turkey, doesn't matter what his preturn diplomacy is...

Turkey did send in orders as soon as he knew he was Turkey.

Okay, I have a few questions for you, my wonderful players:

1. Do you want some sort of confirmation PM when I receive your orders?
2a. How often do you want me to reveal how many players haven't sent orders yet?
2b. Should I make it public who hasn't sent orders?

Thanks, sweeties!

1. If it isn't too much work, then yes, that would be greatly appreciated.

2a. If you say, for example, "I have orders from 5 players," I think that would be good. However.......

2b. I do not think this is a good idea. In the aforementioned example, if, say, England and France are the two nations that haven't sent orders yet, it becomes conspicuous that they are the two....this is an abstract example, but I hope I have made my point.

Okay, I'm missing two sets of orders. They both still have 8 hours to turn them in though.

I debated on whether or not to make public the people who haven't sent orders yet. 2 ayes vs. 1 nay, and I decided to do it.

Just to let everybody know, we're waiting on Russia and Austria. Please get your orders in!

Well, it's an hour and thirty minutes past the deadline, and yet Russia hasn't sent orders yet.

I'll give him an additional day. After that though, heads will start rolling.

INFORMATION

-I decided that you guys all hate me because I only received three responses to my question. However, based on such a limited sample size, I have determined to do the following (this errata will be added to the rules on the front page):
  • 1. If you want a confirmation PM, ask me directly in your orders.
  • 2. I will declare how many people have not sent orders once a day before the update and once on the day of.
  • 3. The first declaration will be anonymous while the second declaration will involve a public shaming.
-Czar Anonymoose of Russia has made clear to me (belatedly, but better than disappearing first) that he will have sporadic Internet access for a week. Since I'm loath to switch players around, and since he kind of did hint at an extension, I'll give it to him.
-NEXT ORDERS DUE: March 22, 2010, at 8:00 PM PST.

Sh!t bro, look who is going after Germany...

Though you two could have pretended to be my friend and convinced me to bounce Russia out of Sweden, making your life easier. And honestly, the "attack" into Burgundy? You make it too obvious.

'Tis an art form, not just a series of moves. :p

Your paranoia is distinctly unseemly.

Hey I'd like to join
Here are my choices (in order)

Finland
Spain
Sweden

Sorry to break it to you, kid, but all slots are taken. There's only 7 playable nations. The rest are all neutral countries that you can occupy, some of which gives you enough population to raise an army.
