Direct Democracy in Action! Or Inaction! A.K.A.: 9000+ monkeys with typewriters...

Giovanni was defeated. I have no idea where they are going now. The chat is impossible to follow.

When last I checked they had gone to Rock Tunnel to train up The Keeper (Drowzee) because they don't actually possess anything which beats ghosts. In the meantime they managed to catch a Zubat (named - - - - -; hereafter Dashbat). It'll probably be at least a day or two before they've trained The Keeper up enough. The constant running from encounters is definitely not helping.

Also, an Odish nicknamed Cabbage has been caught.

The oddish was caught a little while back. It was recently named Cabbage. They're having a lot of fun with the name changer.

More shenanigans abound as they attempt to beat the ghost legions of the Dome. I feel like this has been the best thing to happen to the internet in years. It even made me dig out an emulator on my tablet and spin FireRed on my own.

When even the MSM are starting to talk about a pokémon play-through...BBC started it yesterday, but over today CNN and several others have gotten in on the game too.

This is awesome. Any where else I can read about about this. I loved the part when they took hours using cut.

RIP Jay Leno the Rattata

Personally I await the GSC romhack where you encounter an addeled Red at Mt. Silver, having retreated to solitude in an attempt escape the cacaphony of voices in his head. Upon being approached, he unleashes a level 100 Pidgeot and attacks you with Gust.

Also this Google Doc is a pretty useful thing for keeping up.

Ran into this (It's not mine) :

Wait, there were two versions going at once? You mean I missed half of the hilarity?

Probably had fewer people participating in the stream. I peaked in on the FireRed stream and they actually told me to go away so they could have one player grind pokemon for several hours.

Kinda defeats the purpose of it, dontcha think?

Anyway: I can't believe they actually managed to get through the Safari Zone without the step count being removed. Incredible!

I think they used Democracy there, which makes it somewhat less impressive, but still, I think this whole thing has just been freaking amazing. I cannot believe they managed to get to the Power Plant and get Zapdos without wasting the Master Ball on some Voltorb on the way.
