OOC: It's really simple. Nobles are a threat to absolute rule. So they are enemies of the state and must be eliminated. This gains the support of the people, especially when you help them out. Everybody preys on the Slavs. The Teutons, the Turks... so clearly they're all enemies. Your behavior, combined with that of Courland, simply reinforces this obvious message. All possible threats to power simply exist to be eliminated. And lastly, if Russia is the Third Rome, it should damn well act like it. Some things are very Soviet-esque, yes, but it's my first time playing Russia, and quite frankly, they've saved me more than once so far, so you'll have to deal with it.das said:Btw, Symph, could you please explain some stuff about your Russia? Its quite weird with all those anachronisms, Latinisms (in a fiercely anti-Catholic country) and so forth, not to mention the racial ideas (which are terribly anachronistic for any part of the world unless its just a fancier term for plain old xenophobia).
Cuivienen said:As I have announced on das's thread, I'm leaving NESing. I would expect that Britain will still honor its agreement with Aragon (2 EP this turn, one next turn and Languedoc for Aragonese withdrawal and peace), but otherwise I am ambivalent. Farewell.
random portions of words to make new ones is rather anachronistic
The Senate was a period name, IIRC.
I could take Aragon if someone tells me whats up and whats down.

Hey I have just as good a claim as Britain and its puppet king, better in my opinion.
