DLC Modpack Repository

I have the same problem as zautos, @Infixio

I installed the same modpack provided and through it in Civ5/Assests/DLC.

Replying to your points... c) EUI is in the modpack itself, as it's just VP w/ some UI enhancements.

MODS/Cache shouldn't matter because the game is starting up in normal single player without Mods "enabled" through the Civ 5 menu, right? I cleared the cache anyway to no avail.

EDIT:
Removing "Improved City View (EUI) (v 5)
UI - Improved City View (Vox Populi EUI) (v 10)"

works

Cache holds the copy of the few databases, including the core one, localization texts and mods. When you clear Cache, then you force the game to recreate those databases. The game actually reads all relevant .xml and .sql files from vanilla and DLCs plus from mods later (if you choose Mods option in the Menu).

Is this what your folder looks like? That works for me.

I've just downloaded the modpack in question, installed it and started a game. No problems.
However, I must say that there should NOT be 2 ICV mods inside Mods folder. This modpack is wrongly created. I suppose it works only because there's an UI folder that contains another copy of CityView.lua that overrides whatever was loaded earlier.
Anyway, after installing I suggest you remove ICV (v 5) as this is an old version of ICV.

It worked for me, too, so i didn't question it. Thanks for pointing this out.

Hi all,

Thanks for all the advice/time spent on this little issue. Even after deleting my cache folder and trying each City View mod individually, they didn't work by themselves or together with cache/MODS folder cleared.

So I'm just gonna use the modpack without them. Although I may revisit making my own tonight, because I love InfoAddict, Quickturns, and RED.

Thanks again for a vibrant community modding an 8 year old game!

I just went to report a different bug, but tested a few times to make sure. I noticed that when I run the game in dx11 mode, I cannot build in my cities, but when I run in dx9 mode everything runs fine. I use dx9 for full screen and dx11 for windowed.

My mod folder looks like the picture above, including the boxed item.

The b.i.t.c.h in the address is blocked for some reason and you have an extra R at the end of RAR. I changed those and got it downloading. Thanks for the modpack!

The above modpack works fine.

tryng to build a modpack with "Really Advanced Setup" to make your mp setup really advanced, but it doesn't work - does anyone have a better alternative?

RAS is not multiplayer compatible (unfortunately). However, this may work (or crash, do not place to much hope on it):

First, make a single player game (without modpack) with all the settup you want. Save the game.
Second, make a mopack.
Third, move your save from the modded single-player folder to the multiplayer folder.
Lastly, try to load that save in a multiplayer game (each player should be asked which civ they want to take).

Other than just turning negative events off, any way to set how long draughts last? its 450 AD and I've been in a draught for my first 5 cities since 900 BC. It's a temperate map. Not aware of draughts that last 1500 years?

will ynaemp work as part of a modpack with vp?

I'm creating a new modpack with the following mods. Does anyone know if the load order here will cause problems?

Seems ok to me.
(Don't forget that if you have the coroporation screen that prevent you from playing, it is normal. You can't play VP with MMW enabled, but the modpack created still works and should not have any corporation screen preventing you from playing)
