However, I think that contacting spirits is a big no-no in the Christian beliefs. The Ouji board is (intended) for contacting spirits right? Well, then how can that not conflict with what is Christian?

I think you are not supposed to talk with the dead at all - including saints and relatives.

As for Jesus or God, or authorised messengers, how do you know that they are who they claim to be? The devil is, afterall, the master of disguise... and you're not supposed to be contacting the dead anyway (I think)...

God will guide those who have faith... the bible says nothing about needing proof in the form of spelled out messages.

Pre-worn jeans are stupid - it shortens their lifespan dramatically, and it's not like they're any cheaper to buy. I buy my jeans in mint condition and use them till they start falling apart, getting maximum use out of them as well as the choice 'tween a smart or worn look.

There's nothing wrong with contacting the "Dead", because it's not negative energy coming from a Hades type place but a part of their soul communicating from heaven. If it's a bad thing, they wouldn't be communicating, its that simple.

If my writing feels like it has a harsh tone then I did not edit properly, as I do not mean one.

I don't believe in the Devil, but I do know there is negative energy in this reality we live in that does what a devil could do. I don't believe that the Bible is correct on everything. The Bible also condones slavery! Yay for slavery!

It's simple as this: the single most important thing in this world and beyond is love. If something is simply love, and nothing else, nothing negative, nothing violent, nothing hateful, nothing that requires justification, just plain love, it is a good thing.

Seriously, I don’t think you can apply the label ‘Goth’ to all of ‘them’. It’s not an international club.

Incidentally, here we don’t call them Goths, we call them ‘Satanists’.

There is a difference between 'goths' and 'satanists'. But you can get satanist goths.

When a person sees a "Goth" for the first time, they will probably stare and think strange things about them. Just like anyone does when they encounter a new culture.

I live in an area where there are "Amish" people... who also dress differently than the mainstream, have different values & world views, and are often mis-understood by "normal" folk.

So you can't really judge someone until you get to know them as a person.

So no, goths don't scare me.

look at my pics
thos are bad pics, and my skin is much whiter then what it apears in the pics, im the whitest persion in my school. not becus i bleach it, shear lack of a tan.. and as i read befor, y whold some one tan ther skin?? y whold a white want to look mexican? *not trying to make a "racist" coment so dont think of it as that way*

as for some coments, y do u ppl hate other jsut for how thay dress?? i know many jocks, and thay are very kind to me. many know my personlity, and seem to like me dispite how i dress, even the "preps" seem to overall acaept me. i am the only "authitic" goth in my school, most other "goths" are a bit more punkish *the punk look from the 80s* while i have none of that in me.. like i said, i think ppl in general are much more acepting then what lots of ppl think. i dont get stared at when im out in public as much as what u think i do, infect only once in a blue moon am i ever stared at.. i get many coments on my looks and my stlye of dress acaly from many ppl who are and are not goth, i get hit on by preps, telling my how thay love my hair, and how cute i am and "sexy" i am.. ther are ppl u i think look at me as freakish, but as i said befor, thats rearer then what u think it whold be.. allso for my white pale skin, i allso get coments on that, lots seem to like that milk look on me.

i whold like to add, cna u see me in any thing eals?? i cant i like the style of dress and find its cofertable. i dont find the "norm" confterble at all..

What I really don't understand is how goths brag about not "following the fashion industry", but buy all of their clothes in ultra-expensive gothic-stores that are owned most likely by the same yuppies that own the "fashion industry".

I have nothing against goths, they're just like everyone else, some of them are very nice people, and others, well, aren't.

Most goths i have met are pretty normal when you talk to them even a bit nicer than the usaul person. I don't mind the look if its more subtle I just think some of them go overboard but it doesn't scare me. That would be like being scared of a trick-or-treater.

I've found more goths act condescending toward cheerful cultural styles and negative towards that direction a lot more than I find goths railing against fashion and corporations and such. Those types are punks.
