'Independent' means they don't belong to any party, so there is nothing wrong with calling yourself an 'independent'. It would give you more credibility than calling yourself a 'free thinker' because that word has been abused too much.
Keep in mind that many people can be just like the sheep they claim not to be, by believing every word that Alex Jones says. Propaganda can run both ways.

The independant party within America has its political objectives which at times allign with my own political concerns... and at time runs counter to my political concerns. They do not represent me as an individual looking for the common good. Nor do the Republicans or Democrats. I HATE the party systems. I think they lead to stereotypical thinking which leads to the kind of people who have supported the worlds worst leaders. Beyond that I am just me! I work to be me and I will NEVER replace me with some ideological beleive of some other human unless that other human matches my beleives perfectly. And even then it will be just an alliance so long as that other person/group adheres to the ideals for which I personally hold dear. I am ME. Not them, or anyone else!!!

When a politician runs as an 'independent' he is not representing a 'party', so does not align his ideals with other politicians who run as an 'idependent'. It is basically a way of saying 'no party'.

The aircraft must be large enough to make the cross-country trip from Washington D.C. to her San Francisco home without stopping to refuel.

I dont even pay attention to this level of crap when many thousands of lives lie in stake. So yes I missed researching the purpose of this request. Was it for unfettered access to 'hot spots' that US politicians would not be doing their job if they did not visit? Or is it as you suggest some fleching of America. Is she doing her job or is she robbing America as Haliburton et all have been proven to have done. The criminals try and use their crimes to lessen the credibility of those that try and clean up the mess the criminals make. This is not fracking new!!!!

Yet with no fracking evidence save for some single news media referance you are willing to take a side which your herder herds you to. Are you a sheep or a human freethinker? If you are a sheep you will forget all the past and just think of the day to day. With only knowledge of the day to day you will be lead to slaughter. Unfortunatly if you do represent the masses then you will lead the freethinkers to slaughter as well. This is where I become involved in this blind leading the blind. Perhaps you can quote me where I spoke of JUST the Iraq war here in this debate for which you have quoted me. The Iraq war is NOTHING compared to that which I speak. Iraq may be a battle ground for the imperialism for which bush supports and my countries enemies fight... but Iraq and Saddam and bun laden are just pawns in this great game. Saddams dead and ladens either dead or cowering or healing up. Yet this struggle intensifies. It was never about them. It is about much much more. But please find the quote here where I spoke of Iraq in these last few posts I made. I dislike Rep. Pelosi (or any other government official not employed by the executive branch) making what can be construed as a policy-making visit to a foreign head of state. I'd have a little less problem with it if she was a Senator rather than a Representative, given the differing constitutional emphasis given to the two bodies.

Of course you don't mean in general that the administration policy is an isolationist one but only specifically toward nation-states that are supporting terrorist activity of foreign fighters in Iraq?

Its tacky behavior. One thing is disagreeing with, even hating your president. Another thing is disrespecting him abroad with hostile foreign powers. For better or worse, the Bush administration handles American foreign policy and diplomacy.

Very good point. She may legislate for the whole nation, but the whole nation didn't elect her. Leave the foreign policy to those whose job descriptions it is.
