It is addictive simply because the quality of discussion is high. I have genuinely learned things here... it might not have changed my world view, but at least it has taught me lessons about the arguments my opponents might present. And that is all good... I do love learning.

This is probably the best board on the entire Internet... simply because of the quality of even those people I do not agree with.
