For Iraq to invade or attack Israel on the ground, they would need to go through either Jordan, Saudi Arabia or Syria, all of which regard Hussein with a great deal of antipathy.
He has no functioning air force to speak of, nor a comparable missile capability to what it was during the Gulf War.
So, I therefore conclude that Iraqi action against Israel is in the realm of the quite unlikely, unless Hussein makes a suicidal attack using hitherto unknown WMD, in which case he and a great deal of Iraq will disappear courtesy of Jericho missiles:D
When the US launches a campaign to evict Saddam, it will a bit down the line, and not done in the way that everyone predicts. If we recall correctly it was only a short time ago that "informed" pundits were proclaiming to all and sundry that the war in Afghanistan was unwinnable, and the US had involved itself in another Vietnam.

But the thing is all those countries you just named don't like Isreal too much, an incedent in lebanon and BOOOM, the Syrian government grants 'rights of passage';) to the Iraquis!!!
