Do you really think Bush sucks?

@Matrix - IMO Carter was the worst. For much different reasons,
though - he was too nice, and didn't understand how to work
with Congress.

Bush is bad because he doesn't understand the concept
that things don't always go as planned, and also because
he wants yes-(wo)men, not advisers.

The big similarity I see is that both are absurdly quixotic. Different ideals, but the same lack of common sense. Remind me of "the Fool" as depicted in tarot decks. Gaudy, colourful apparel (ie image), head held high, walking around happily in the bright sunny day - right off a cliff.

And strangely it seems they both incur the same sorts of consequences. Gas prices are rising and Iranian radicals are absolutely beaming with happiness. Idealism hits the real world and is reflected back on the TV as grisly scenes of carnage and failures of American power. The whole Chalabi thing was very naieve, "Carteresque", too. Iran, Iran, Iran.

Yep, truly the most powerful suckage on Earth. Nucular is one thing, but over the past year he's been developing the trait (or maybe I'm just noticing it more) of making statements that may or may not be obvious, but he says them with a little bit of a smirk that says "Well duh here, folks, why are you too stupid to get this?"

That what I also dislike about him. Almost everytime when a journalist asks him a serious question he responds as if the journalist is some kind of moron who is too stupid too understand the big picture. Or he exagerates the question of the journalist, and makes it sound ridiculous like:

"Are you considering plans to reduce the precense of American troops in Iraq?"

Bush: "The idea that we would give terrorists a timetable when we will be leaving wouldn't be a smart thing to do wouldn't it." + the stupid grin, as if he saying. "How dumb are you for asking me this"

There is nothing special about Bush. He did good and bad like any other president.

FDR was most certainly worse than Bush, though.

Edit: I wish Bush Sr was prez.

I liked Clinton,could be cause he saved my country from crazy Serbs(or was that the UN?nevermind he did a good job on the whole 'peace' thing).When the Albanian War started he bombed the Serbs..again.I was hooked on the 19.30 news just to see USAns bombed the **** out of Serbs payback time yeah!While Clinton was in charge I thought Americans were pretty good people.He was a good guy and you cant blame him for being a d00d.
