Do you really think Bush sucks?

So, discuss it. What was the role of President Bush in the US. Did he do a good job? Did he screw the whole country? Do you believe he is one of the greatest US presidents?

IMO he sucks. Foreign relations have dropped faster than a lead balloon under his reign, and its becoming increasily clear that his own country is starting to get annoyed by him.
I dont think he'll be remembered as a great pres in years to come, except by the fundamentalists and creationists.

The Boy-King's only useful accomplishment was forming the Office of Homeland Security, although that didn't exactly go off without a hitch, as recently developments in New Orleans demonstrates. Other than that, it's been one bungle after another.

I used to think Bush wasn't all that great, though far from the worst (Franklin Pierce, I'm looking in your direction!). But these past ten months have been horrible. Still not the worst, I think, but a notch down in only ten months.

Bush is not a good president. He divides America, he has unforgivable stances on some issues(gay marriage, stem cells), and he started a stupid war.

And then there's the Patriot Act and a fairly bad job with the economy.

except bush is lier, bastard and all-round bad person. he never should have been re-elected. his first term had the most lay-offs than any president and he has one of the lowest IQ's of any president. the iraq war was just to get revenge on his equally stupid daddy because of hussein's attempt on his life. he also doing a terrible job in new orleans. he should recall troops from iraq to help in New orleans. i ask if any on this site voted for him and why are you so stupid to throw away your vote like that. even voting for nader would have been better.

I dont think bush sucks. He will be a lost president like James Garfeild nothing special there. Maybe that is why bush went into Iraq, so that he will have more then a one paragraph bio on him in history books

He's easily the worste president in my lifetime. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse then him and homeland security is by far the dumbest name for a department. They should have given it a cool name like Section 9 or something, but I guess its fitting to give a worthless organization a stupid name.

The only thing I can give the guy credit for is that he has his supporters convinced that he could do no wrong. He could accidently launch his missiles at his own country and his supporters wouldn't think any less of him.

I strongly disagree. Bush will be remembered for a long time, unfortunately for the Republicans. Everything about his presidency has been quite dramatic and he has sat in office during momentous times, so it's almost impossible that he won't see frequent mention in the histories written in the future.

While I don't think he's a spectacular failure as President, I certainly don't think he's a good or even average one. Voted he sucks.

OTOH, you're a democracy, so you deserve him for electing him.
